A strong focus on Health and Safety has always been a top priority of the Nordex Group, and this week marks 6 months since we launched the #SafetyTogether campaign. As we further improve our safety culture, it is important for all of us to remain mindful of best practices and behaviors when it comes to keeping ourselves and others safe in the workplace. For that reason, our #TeamNordex HSE specialists identified and analyzed the main risks and previous incidents across all our activities and used this to develop 10 Life Saving Rules. These 10 Life Saving Rules underline our commitment to safety and, more importantly, act as a safeguard for our employees and subcontractors moving forward. Each rule addresses a specific topic as part of a defined minimum acceptable HSE standard which must not be broken. This is the key message that the 10 Life Saving Rules aim to firmly reinforce within our Nordex Group safety culture and all our mindsets. These rules are fundamental to the safety of everyone working as part of and alongside our company, and it is our duty to uphold them in everything we do here at the Nordex Group. #SafetyTogether #SafetyFirst #LSR #TeamNordex

Great news from Türkiye: The Ministry of Energy recently announced the goal of quadrupling the expansion of wind and solar energy to 120,000 MW by 2035. The background to this is the rapid increase in electricity consumption in the past and the expected further increase over the coming years, as fossil fuels are replaced by electricity. The Nordex Group has been the market leader in the country since 2017 with over 31% of the market share. So, of course, our local #TeamNordex colleagues will participate in the 13th Turkish Wind Energy Congress TWEC, organized by the Turkish Wind Energy Association Türkiye Rüzgar Enerjisi Birliği (TÜREB), to be held on 5 - 6 November 2024, in Istanbul. In addition to meeting our local colleagues at our booth, you will also get the chance to see Ender Özatay, Vice President Region Türkiye and Middle East of the Nordex Group, take part in the panel discussion “Strategic Opportunities and Challenges for Turbine Manufacturers: The Turkish Market from Leaders' Perspective” on 6th November from 13:00-14:30. We’re looking forward to seeing you in Istanbul! #TeamNordex #GreenEnergyTransition #Türkiye #TWEC2024 #TÜREB

“The future of renewable energy in the Balkans and beyond is full of opportunities, with the EU setting ambitious targets and regulatory frameworks driving the green transition. The Nordex Group is well-positioned to support this development with its nearly 40 years of experience in global wind markets and our commitment to safety and advanced technology,” said Jose Luis Blanco, CEO of the Nordex Group in his opening speech during the Nordex Business Day Balkans on 24 October in Belgrade, Serbia. One of the main topics discussed was the Nordex Group's ability to support renewable energy growth in the region through our local teams. José Luis highlighted Nordex' global business as market leader in the EMEA region in terms of order intake last year, and the installed capacity of around 50 GW worldwide. Regional team representatives presented the organizational structure and local service points. Commitment to safety was also a highlighted topic, and Alexandre Rodriguez, the Chief Information Security Officer of the Nordex Group, presented the company’s current solutions and future plans. The latest and most efficient versions of the Delta4000 series - the N163/6.X and N175/6X - were the focus of the product session, which also addressed the crucial topic of energy security. And last but not least, the culmination of the event’s fruitful agenda was a round table discussion involving financial experts from Nordex, banks, and financial partners exploring the value that Nordex can offer, before the evening program began. Nordex Group began to explore Balkan market back in 2017. Today, with almost 2 GW of projects sold, and to a large part installed, the Balkans are considered one of the key regions within Nordex, and we are looking to expand our presence in the region. #NordexGroup #TeamNordex #Balkans #Serbia #GreenEnergyTransition

Nordex Business Day Balkans The Balkan wind markets are gaining momentum as the Balkan States demonstrate their commitment to increasing renewable energy within their energy mix through auctions and ambitious targets. To share our vision on driving this growth, the Nordex Group is hosting the Nordex Business Day Balkans on 24 October with around 100 guests expected to attend in Belgrade, Serbia. Following an introduction by Jose Luis Blanco, CEO of the Nordex Group, and Anne-Catherine de Tourtier, Vice President Region Mediterranean, and Vladimir Kolarevic, Managing Director Serbia, the event aims to provide an opportunity to discuss with experts, developers, customers and financial partners the latest developments, best-suited products, opportunities, and requirements in a region that is expected to experience significant growth over the next few years. Nordex has made major advancements in the regional renewable energy sector since entering the Serbian market in 2021. Having just recently won its third major project in Serbia, the company is set to install a total capacity of 355 MW in the country by 2025. Nordex' increasing activities in the region are further highlighted by its market leader position in Croatia, with more than 600 MW sold, and its selection as the preferred supplier for a 55 MW project in Montenegro. These represent just some of many steps the Nordex Group is taking to actively drive the transition to renewable energy in the Balkans. #TeamNordex #GreenEnergyTransition #Wind #Balkans
