In a year where VC has faced global challenges, Africa’s entrepreneurial spirit is proving unstoppable. Just this past quarter, we celebrated two milestones: 🦄 Moniepoint Group became Africa’s 8th unicorn with a $110M Series C round, empowering over 1 million businesses with financial services. 🦄 Tyme Group achieved a $1.5B valuation after Nubank led their $250M Series D—a partnership sparked by an introduction at last year’s Endeavor Gala. These achievements are a testament to the growth and potential of Africa’s entrepreneurial ecosystem.
