Are you setting your team up for success and helping them find long-lasting careers? One secret I always follow is to ensure my team meets with hiring managers before accepting a position. A walk-through with direct supervisors and a tour of the building can make all the difference in preparing for the first day. This practice not only makes employees feel more comfortable and confident, but it also helps employers feel more secure in their hiring decision. I've found that not many people follow this practice, but it's one that has brought success to both sides of the table. As a recruiter, my goal is to ensure that everyone involved feels comfortable and confident in their decision. It's not about just throwing bodies at a position and hoping it works out - it's about finding the right fit. So, let's set ourselves and our teams up for success!

The current state of the job market is beyond frustrating. It's clear that countless individuals are facing an uphill battle in finding suitable roles or even getting responses from recruitment teams. Automated systems seem to be systematically pushing less qualified individuals down the list, disregarding their potential to gain valuable experience in the field. The multi-stage interview procedures embraced by certain organizations not only complicate the job search process but also frequently waste candidates' time, especially when they are ultimately labeled as 'unfit'. It's ridiculous for entry-level jobs to require years of experience when these roles are meant for individuals to gain that experience. What's going to happen when all the senior-level staff leave and there's no one underneath them to replace them? I guess time will tell. I was reminded today why I love what I do as Client Success. I recently spoke with one of our clients to explore how we could make it easier for them to find them a suitable talent. Step by step, guided them through their Bossjob account, walk them through by showing them how to maximize and fully utilize our platform's feature. Highlighted how these tools or functions can save time in their recruitment process. They said "This is great and helpful. Thank you for making my recruitment process easier" Hearing this kind of feedback is always rewarding and satisfying for me. This is why I'm passionate about this role. It's not just about resolving issues, it's about making someone's day a little better, one conversation at a time.
