Thinking Fast & Slow As some of you know, I host a weekly podcast called Strategies for Empowering Entrepreneurial Dreams SEED on the platform for ANE Global Global, a social enterprise that facilitates professionalism and economic viability among black owned and operated businesses. www.aneglobal.org. Today, for the first time, I would like to give an overview of what to expect in the next episode soon to be released on Saturday, 20th April. You may have heard of the African/Chinese proverb that says, "If you want to go fast, walk alone, but if you want to go far, walk with others." I have had cause to reflect on this due to the leadership roles I have played recently and have decided on a different approach, which is not to follow either positions absolutely but adopt a hybrid of the two. Doing this helps me to be ninble and to decide for each case when it's best to walk fast or slow. As a an entrepreneur and founder of several initiatives in the marketplace, I am constantly processing ideas of how to navigate several scenarios in ministry, community development and consulting (where simultaneously I am required to fill the roles of business development, strategy and/or operations) and as such need to think and act swiftly to gain or enhance our competitive advantage. Consequently, speed of execution is critical i.e. without suffering a loss in quality of output. Therefore, I find myself deciding whether to wear my operator hat and leverage my proven experience as an international consultant or to take on the position of a coach or leader holding back and letting others catch up, make their mistakes, but with the possibility of losing out on an identified opportunity. This mindset has largely been instrumental to how and why some of the organizations I am privileged to lead have remained relevant and are meeting the needs of the moment. I encourage every founder or highly driven business, community or faith leader not to take a backseat and let things slide especially when you are too trusting of those who may not share your passion or values..Rather, find ways to sustain the momentum by causing a positive change that will keep everyone moving ahead. So much to say but need to stop here. All the best 👍🏽 Eman | TAD | Tundosco 04.17.24

"You've got to find your way of doing it. Doing it any one person's way is never going to be right." – Hollis Carter As a young entrepreneur, Hollis quickly realized the benefit of traveling to conference after conference. He could connect with fellow business owners, establish genuine relationships, & gain valuable insights. At the same time, it was a total drag. Weeding through the masses of salespeople eager to make a pitch rather than a connection was exhausting, & sterile conference rooms with terrible food left him longing for much more. It wouldn't be easy to turn obligatory conferences into eagerly anticipated experiences attended by like-minded people. But Hollis' passion for people, for creating community, and for providing a space for people to share values and experiences forged the way. What started as a small gathering of entrepreneur friends has snowballed into something much more significant. Why? Hollis has simply refused to replicate what's being done anywhere else. To learn more: 👉Download Hollis' episode of the Anything but Typical Podcast (link in 1st comment). 👉Find him at BabyBathwater dot com or at hollisc on Instagram. Stephen Richards said, "To get something different, you must do something different." Hollis did. Last night, I watched Guillaume Moubeche share his most valuable tips on how to build an audience and turn it into paying customers (with warm outreach) from the stage of the Lemlist HQ. It was so value-packed that my head is still spinning. (Read on to see how you might be able to get a replay.) On top of that, I was very lucky to talk to some top-notch business and sales people. Here’s what I learned from them: “Pain points are OK, but focus on one single problem in your niche... And also, I sound like an Australian.” _ Tal Baker-Phillips Thank you, Tal, for the superb Notion bonus and the good vibes. I really appreciate it. “Just ask. You’ll be surprised how many people will be willing to share their best tips on your podcast.” _ Florent Bonnefont Thanks, Florent. It’s the second time you have generously let me shamelessly pick your brain, and your tips are beyond valuable. I’m so happy to see flomodia succeed, and I feel immensely grateful that it made this event possible. “Go for it. Grow your business in English (I’m in France). Write content that shows your expertise and helps your target audience this way...” _ Guillaume Moubeche Guillaume understood my topic and value proposition in a flash. He was gracious enough to show me a profile I could model and get inspiration from. So thank you, Guillaume. You’ve been a light on my entrepreneurial journey. And, thank you for sharing your best tips so generously yesterday. I'm going to need them. Additionally, I met some really cool entrepreneurs with exciting projects. I look forward to watching them grow. Now, if you want to watch the replay and didn’t register for the live event..., you’ll have to beg Maxim Poulsen to get access to it. I’m not sure whether he can do it, but since the event was broadcast via his awesome app Contrast, it doesn’t hurt to ask. And, if that’s not possible, you’ll just have to follow Guillaume and wait for his next event or check out the Lemlist blog and YouTube channel.

In the quest for success, seeking guidance from those who have already walked the path you aspire to traverse is invaluable. I am a staunch advocate of mentorship, firmly believing in the wisdom gained from learning from others' experiences and missteps. Attempting to navigate the complexities of entrepreneurship solo is a surefire path to exhaustion. Collaboration is key; surrounding yourself with mentors and empowering your team members is essential for sustainable growth. Building something of significance necessitates nurturing relationships, both with mentors and employees, rather than attempting to micromanage every aspect alone. True achievement emerges from these connections, emphasizing the importance of prioritizing meaningful relationships in any endeavor. Learn more from Kody Thompson during his unique interview, where he shares: his experience as an entrepreneur, his best and worst business decisions, and his #1 piece of advice that he would give to entrepreneurs. Do you surround yourself with the right people? Being an entrepreneur like myself is a challenge on its own but with with the RIGHT people around, the support system, and like-minded partners, everything feels a lot lighter. We cannot deny the fact that a close circle with people who can relate to our struggles and people we can even build a business with is the exact network we need. BUT where can we even find these people? You might not know yet, but a mastermind founded by Eric Berman is what you need. He organized an exclusive community that brought together successful business leaders, high-level entrepreneurs and executives who are eager to connect, share insights and foster growth. I cannot think of any other place better than this to globally connect, and look for the latest trends, tools, and strategies while getting quick feedback and solutions to your challenges.
