One of the highlights of 2024 so far has been coaching and facilitating the Emerging Leaders II 9-month Program for the National Tooling and Machining Association (NTMA). I'm really enjoying coaching and learning from this incredible group of leaders every month. It was a no-brainer when it came to the title for this article building on from my first book - What Makes a Great Emerging Leader? Here are some of the principles from what makes a great emerging leader: * Listening (Trust): Great emerging leaders excel at truly hearing their team, fostering an environment of trust and mutual respect. * Empathy (Patience): They demonstrate patience and understanding, essential for nurturing and guiding their team through challenges. *Passion (Drive, Confidence, Motivation): Their passion and drive inspire confidence and motivation in their team, driving them towards success.
