I left Climate Week in NYC and went straight to Bangkok, Thailand where I visited the Asian Institute of Technology. They are doing incredibly important work to identify new rice cultivation techniques that reduce emissions and engage with farmers to determine what they need to scale these techniques. The Rockefeller Foundation is committed to supporting food systems that can nourish people and planet alike and fuel a more sustainable future. What a pleasure to meet with the farmers and youth leaders advancing this work which will provide data and direction for the entire sustainable agriculture community in Southeast Asia.
Thank you Elizabeth for visiting us at AIT. AIT is pleased to join hands and teaming up with Rockefeller Foundation on issues of food security and agriculture, energy transition and the climate finance.
