A post is like a status update and is limited to 1,300 characters, ideal for brief thoughts or announcements. An article can be up to 125,000 characters, allowing you to show your expertise and increase your visibility. Write an article about your latest episode, including a description, a call-to-action with a direct link to your podcast, and even show notes if you have them. These videos are perfect for LinkedIn, giving new listeners a quick glimpse of your show and directing them to your website. You can share videos up to 10 minutes long as a post. Be sure to include a paragraph or two describing your show. 5. 𝑺𝒉𝒂𝒓𝒆 𝒂 𝑷𝒐𝒅𝒄𝒂𝒔𝒕 𝑻𝒆𝒂𝒔𝒆𝒓 𝑽𝒊𝒅𝒆𝒐 𝒊𝒏 𝑳𝒊𝒏𝒌𝒆𝒅𝑰𝒏 𝑺𝒕𝒐𝒓𝒊𝒆𝒔 LinkedIn now has a Stories feature, similar to Instagram Stories, where content is visible for 24 hours. This is another great place to share your podcast teaser video. With Wavve, you can easily resize your video for LinkedIn Stories by selecting the vertical sizing option when creating your video. #LinkedInLive #PodcastPromotion #DigitalMarketing

I created video content for 4 years, and… Last year I burned out. First on YouTube, then on Facebook. I was exhausted by it. Hours and hours spent looking at a blank page or a camera, and having to come up with something interesting on the spot. That extra pressure of having to perform made me procrastinate, lose a lot of time, and made me hate creating content. I reached a point where I just couldn’t do it anymore. I was burned out. But then, the most amazing thing happened to me, that I didn't even see coming: Just before going on holidays, one of my mentors sent an email saying that his new beta program was open. He was giving me a pathway to success that was totally in line with me. No content creation, just good old networking and referrals. In this program, he told me that podcast guesting was an amazing way to increase my network and create partnerships. As usual, obsessive as I am, I went all in. In 4 months, I booked 67 podcasts! (don't recommend it, by the way) And I gotta say, it was absolutely true. I met incredible people, created amazing relationships, and opened up a ton of partnership opportunities. But that was not the best part: I couldn’t believe it, but one of the hosts shared with me a bunch of reels I could use of interesting parts of my interview. And I thought… “OH MY GOD!”. Free content, seamlessly extracted from me through a conversation. This is the DREAM marketing scenario! PLUS, the dream selling scenario, as I could show this interview to cold leads, and was having access to new audiences that would listen to me for 20 to 45 minutes. The opportunity was huge. I made a ton of mistakes during that podcast blitz, and learned everything by blindly testing and trying, and talking to a lot of hosts. In the meantime, I was posting all my interviews on LinkedIn, and a couple of people approached me asking: “Tiago, what the hell? What’s happening? Podcast Guesting? Can you show me how to do it?” And that’s how I shifted my business to fully focus on giving people the dream marketing scenario. Podcast guesting gives you the dream marketing scenario, because you don’t have to create content. Content gets extracted from you, without you even noticing. You’re just having a conversation! It’s much more natural. And my clients get the added benefit of having dozens of posts and reels created for them out of one interview, which is an awesome feeling 😁 If having the dream marketing scenario sounds good to you, we should chat! I have a very cool way to help you achieve it. Cheers, Tiago “dream marketing scenario” Faria

It's finally back! As of this week, Marketing in the Raw is back with some exciting changes. Over the last ten years, I've been involved in two marketing podcasts. Between the two, I recorded just short of a couple hundred episodes. Being a part of those regular conversations was always so rewarding. Whether I was chopping it up about the latest marketing trends with co-hosts or verbally processing recent learnings from my work with my clients, it was always an opportunity to learn, grow, and share. What I missed most were the opportunities to talk with others. Back in 2020, smack dab during the pandemic, I launched a new podcast called "Marketing in the Raw," where I'd continue those conversations. After 30 episodes, I had to hit pause. Life happened. The agency and my son were growing, both needing more of my time and attention. The podcast was one of many things that had to be shelved. Fast-forward to a year ago, I started interviewing marketing executives for a couple of research reports we produced. I spoke to CMOs, VPs, and marketing directors at B2B companies nationwide. A couple of things stood out to me: 1. Marketers enjoy talking about marketing. 2. They were willing to share more than I expected. 3. I was learning a ton from these conversations. Other marketing professionals could learn a ton from them, too. As the show's name implies, I originally wanted to host conversations that give an unvarnished look into marketing. The first time around, I didn't quite hit the mark. I talked to incredible thought leaders, authors, and speakers in the marketing space, but what I was after was missing. I knew the conversations could go deeper, but when I started interviewing marketing leaders currently in the thick of things, I found what I was looking for. As of this week, Marketing in the Raw is back with some exciting changes. Who better to learn from than professionals responsible for real-world business outcomes right now? They are willing to share their professional challenges, war stories, strategies, successes, and how they do their best work. I have been hitting the ground running, with eight episodes in the can and many more coming. These conversations are a goldmine for any serious marketing leader or aspiring marketing professional. I will release each episode in video form, starting with my YouTube channel, in addition to the audio. Below is a teaser about the hiatus and what's to come. If this sounds like something for you, subscribe and let me know your thoughts on the first couple of episodes as they drop in the weeks ahead. Please share this post or tag your marketing friends in the comments. I might want to interview them. 😉 I'll share links to the show in the first comment.
