📱👀 Are you spending more time staring at screens than you'd like? 💻 Let's talk about blue light glasses! 👓 While they can help reduce eye strain and fatigue, they're not a magic bullet. To truly protect your eyes, consider these tips: Take breaks: Every 20 minutes, look away from your screen and focus on something 20 feet away for 20 seconds. Adjust your settings: Reduce the brightness and contrast of your screen to minimize glare. Use night mode: This feature can help reduce the amount of blue light emitted by your device, especially at night. 🌙 Want to learn more about protecting your vision? As the days become shorter and darker, we tend to spend more time indoors, which for many people means more screen time – especially for those who also work from home. Prolonged screen use can strain your eyes, but a few simple tips can help: 👁️ Follow the 20-20-20 rule: Every 20 minutes, look at something 20 feet away for 20 seconds to relax your eye muscles. 👁️ Blink often: Staring at screens can reduce blinking, causing dryness and discomfort. Make a conscious effort to blink regularly. 👁️ Optimise screen setup: - Keep your screen 40–76 cm (16–30 inches) from your eyes. - Align the screen’s top edge with or slightly below eye level. - Tilt the screen 10–20 degrees away from you to reduce strain. - Minimise glare by positioning your screen away from windows or bright reflections. It can be tiring to look at a monitor for long periods of time, but regular breaks, good lighting or sitting near a window for natural light and correcting your screen set up can all make your eyes feel more comfortable. #VisionCare #EyeCare #ScreenTime
