Hi everyone, I'm Donna Cundy, podcast host, Global Radio host and co-author of the number one international bestseller, The Influencers Formula. And and so today we wanted to come and do a little bit of teaching with an FAQs frequently asked questions. What's our number one question that we always get what we ask podcasters? How do I sell it? Yeah. How do I sell it? How do I price it? How do I sell it? How do I do all the financial things to it? Even like business owners who have been in business, consultants, coaches, they'll send high ticket contracts and proposals all the time. But when it comes to monetizing a podcast, it's such a different strategy and it's such a different way to do things. So we're excited to come here today talking about the pricing formula that's part of our nine steps. It's step number two. Yeah. And the interesting thing here is that. You wanna have something to actually sell and to actually price. And so part of the beauty of the system that we've put together is that is step one. You'll learn how to create your irresistible offer, right? So you're talking to your potential clients, you're doing your market research, and you're understanding exactly what the market will bear and the interest in the product that you're developing. Yeah, thank you for saying that, James. And I want to break it down to easy terms too, because it's just asking 8 questions. Yeah, Yeah. But when you know the questions in the order, it makes all the difference. And your ideal client will raise their hand and they'll say, I want to have a conversation with you. I'm interested. And they'll let you know. And they'll, you'll ask them like, what do you want to know about this? And they'll tell you and how you feel supported and they'll tell you and. What would you pay for something? And they'll tell you what they like. They'll give you the answers to all of the questions so that you can go back and then put together exactly what, you know, they want to buy. Yeah. And the interesting thing there, Donna, is that through this process, you are understanding what the market will bear, exactly what the conditions are that would make that person a likely buyer, but you're also understanding what their needs are and creating a product that will help meet their needs. So what you're doing is basic research to better understand the problem and then to develop a product that can solve that problem. Yeah, 100% because I say this all the time. People are actively searching for you and your solution and the only way that you can resent it. Will help them get to the next level. I honestly believe that they're searching right now and they just need to let them know that you're here and you're listening and you're ready to be that solution. And so when you're looking online, if you're like many of us and maybe you're going to ask ChatGPT, how do I price this? What do I need to do? What are other products going to be priced at? And you can do that research. You do want to do part of that research. But there's also something to be said to be working with a group of people that have gone through this, that have real experience, that can walk with you step by step as you design, configure and deliver your product. Yeah, there's nothing that can replace the human connection. Yeah, in step one, when we talk about your irresistible offer, it's having that human connection and first of all, having that mindset to step up and sit up and say, I'm ready to be that solution. I'm ready and to to come out from behind the microphone and and say, yes, I mean, that's a big step in in the mind. Yeah. And in this conversation flows into kind of a a related. Frequently asked question and that is, hey, I have a podcast. This information or this information may be out there for free, right? The general information is not behind the paywall. Is somebody going to pay me for that? And part of it is you go through this market research process to understand how you're going to package the information that you're going to sell because you're a packaging that information that's available in a way that your potential customer, that your ideal customer is going to be able to. Use it to make a difference in their life. And when you can understand that. Get out of there. I'm no different than the next guy, like the next person that's saying the same thing on LinkedIn and there's there's 100 million people and you know 100,000 of them are also they're not saying the same thing in the same voice with the same stories, with the same experiences. People follow you. Yeah, or, and to add on to that, Donna, you sign up for some of these programs and the first thing that you get is a message from an assistant. You don't talk to the guru, you're not talking to the person that is actually built the program. You're talking to someone that they may have trained or that that they may have hired, but you're not talking to the people that actually have experience doing it. And that's one of the things that sets this program apart is that you're going to be working with people that have actually done it. They continue to do it. We are walking the things now that we're asking you to walk, We're walking down that same Rd. So we've already walked it. They continue to walk it because it works. But I do want to subway into pricing because that's one of the big things. I had a How do I sell it? The first thing is like, how do I trace it? And I had a conversation just a week ago with one of my clients. Who said, you know, I've been a part of the market research because we did market research for this thing's been a part of the major research. And there was one question that just didn't sit right with me and it was about the pricing. What would you charge? And this person said? Anybody can throw a number out there. On what they say that they'll pay, but that doesn't mean that they actually would. And I said, well that's a very good point. But if you follow the irresistible offer system the way it's set U. You're not only asking them what they would pay, you're asking them what they would want in there to feel supported. You're asking what do they want to learn and if you deliver on those two promises when you come back and have a conversation with them again. There's no reason, there's no reason that they should step back and and not pay that. And so a lot of clients can get presales because they're going back to have the conversations again and say, I heard what you said in our last conversation. Thank you so much. I just want to make sure I got this great. You know, what do you think of the title? What do you think of the the offer? Am I including everything you thought I included? What do you think of the price? Are you ready to to sign up? Would you like to be one of the first in the program? And that's how you can presell right away and also thinking that. In the initial questions, if I tell you I'm going to pay 2500 say for your program. And you come back to me and you show me that you have everything in it that I wanted. But you're charging less. As a beta tester, first run early adopter however you want to do it. You know the cap the most someone would pay. That doesn't mean that's where you need to start, but you can sit at confidently to say. If I don't go over that cap. I'm in a good place with my pricing. Yeah. And you know, Don, I want to interject here when you're working with myself to start the James Bryant working with Donna Cundy. You're not just getting. People that understand podcast. Or people that understand podcasting. You're not just getting people to understand business. You're getting access to coaches as well, not just podcast coaches, not just business coaches, but coaching. And one of the aspects that we encounter when it comes to pricing is people having this fear of rejection or this fear of the market telling them no, that their product is a working and. Listen, I'll tell you right now, and this isn't part of anything that we've scripted. I'm tell you right now. You have the ability to create a product that the market wants and if you put it out there and you don't get the sales that you want or people say no, then that's just another piece of information that you take back. You work with our team, you work with your team and you reconfigure, repackage what it is that you're going to offer. Like John, I'm sorry, no, like the GPS recalculating, yes, yes, you're recalculating. It is not failure. It's another piece of information. And many business owners, many podcasters, particularly when you're a solopreneur, you don't like to be told no. But the only way that you're going to get towards a yes is by going through those nodes. And we provide a support system for you in a safe place to be able to talk about.
