"Modified, Foot Switch Activated Up-Timer for Local Newscasters" With time always being a factor in any newscasters line of work, CBS News has reached out to DC-Digital for a method of displaying the allotted time without the need for a hand switch. This unit functions differently from the standard 3-press activation method of the standard model. Upon pressing and releasing the foot switch, the up-timer counts upward to a total of 99 hours in a hundredth of a second. Pressing the foot switch a second time causes time to stop and releasing foot from switch resets the count back to zero. - Counts upwards to a total of 99 hours in a hundredth of a second upon pressing and releasing foot switch. Pressing and releasing the foot switch a second time will pause and reset the allotted time - Momentary Foot Switch Controller (DC-FOOT-25): 1st press and release activates up-timer. 2nd press and hold stops timer and releasing foot switch resets count back to zero.
