You can optimize your Google Ads campaign for a target Gross profit in the coming days. Like the ROAS target we provide, the gross profit margins must be set in the gross profit optimization goal. Then, Google will calculate and optimize the campaign for gross profit at each conversion level. While enabling this, we have to do two things. - Set the optimization goal to profit tROAS (also known as POAS) - Share Cart and COGS (cost of goods sold) data in our product feed

Even though initiating this bidding strategy might be challenging, it could prove to be the most effective, as a lower CAC or a higher CR do not always correspond with a better ROAS #googleads #acquisition #growth

Most advertisers optimize for revenue. But there's a problem with that: It doesn't tell you anything about profitability. Different products have different margins. And not every order has the same variable costs (shipping, payment fees etc.). The solution: enable profit tracking: - Optimize for more profit, not just revenue - See gross profit data in Google Ads - Spend less on unprofitable ads - Scale hidden winners You can build something for it yourself, or use a simple tool like ProfitMetrics. Here's a guide on how to set up profit tracking in Google Ads, with concrete tips on how to switch from ROAS to POAS: https://lnkd.in/ereiKYpt

Do you track and report on Net Profit directly within Google Ads? Here's why you probably should. This brand went from making a net loss of around -£9K/month to a Net Profit of +£57K from Google Ads. Brands of all sizes are losing A LOT of money across Google Ads. When I say "losing" I mean from a Net Profit point of view. Revenue and ROI might look great, but how much money is actually left in the bank when we subtract VAT, COGs, Other Costs (such as returns, fees, etc) and Media Spend? I'd highly suggest all brands have a clear view on Net Profit to ensure their PPC campaigns are profitable, sustainable and scalable, instead of being a money-losing black pit 🌪💰 #googleads #paidsearch #ppc #profits

I was auditing this Google Ads account. When multiple calls from the same number are received, it should be counted as one conversion, not more than one. When setting up conversion tracking for your business, you must pay attention. #googleads #ppc #localbusiness

🚨 Why does Google Ads overspend with Maximize Conversions bidding? And how can you stop it? 🤑 With the Maximize Conversions strategy, Google may spend up to 2x your daily budget on days it expects more conversions. This is meant to capture more opportunities, but can cause cash flow issues for smaller advertisers. #PaidAdvertising #GoogleAds Here's why it happens and how to prevent the overspending: ✅ Maximize Conversions uses machine learning to automatically set bids to maximize conversions within your target CPA. ✅ On favorable days, Google may spend up to 100% over your daily budget to get more conversions. ❌ The downside? Larger intermittent charges that can cause billing issues for tight budgets. To stop the 2x overspend: 1️⃣ Set an account-level campaign budget to evenly spread your monthly spend. 2️⃣ Use the Target Spend bidding strategy instead of Maximize Conversions. Choose based on your budget flexibility! If cash flow allows fluctuations, Maximize Conversions nets better results overall. #PPC #DigitalMarketing #Budgeting
