This December, let’s honor the courage it takes to embrace change. The festive season can be a mix of joy and challenges, especially when you’re navigating sobriety. The world seems to revolve around toasts, cocktails, and celebrations that often involve alcohol—but here’s the truth: your strength and courage to choose a different path shine brighter than any champagne glass. Think about the why behind your journey. Maybe it’s for better health, stronger relationships, or to feel fully present with your loved ones. Whatever your reason, hold onto it tightly. Let it guide you when things feel tough. Here’s a thought for today: - Write down one word that describes how you want to feel this holiday season. Place it somewhere you’ll see daily—on your phone wallpaper, a sticky note on your mirror, or even as part of your holiday decorations. Let it remind you of the gift you’re giving yourself. - Remember, every alcohol-free moment is a victory worth celebrating. You’re not alone in this journey, and your decision to choose yourself inspires others more than you realize. So my festive party season has already started, as I enjoyed a fun weekend with two successful business women. We worked hard, helping each other unconditionally with ideas to elevate each others businesses in 2024. And we also partied hard on the dance floor. Our minds and conversations also turned to December and Christmas. Here is a reminder. Christmas Is just. 31 to 32 days away, (depending on when you celebrate.) December is a crazy month. What with present buying and wrapping. Menus tp create and trial. Cards to write. Super party events to attend. Let alone work on top of that, with that workload escalating too. So I have a question for you. Take yourself to January. If I had a magic wand. What do you wish was better with your health, fitness, wellbeing, mindset or nutrition? Or what do you regret doing or not doing in December, that you are paying the price for in January in regards to your energy, health, fitness, wellbeing, diet or mindset? Be specific. Give me some clear detail. I am intrigued to know what you say. #newyeartransformation #booster #transformation #newyear #TheWellbeingSherpa #newyearresolution #kickstart

The festive season is upon us! As Christmas lights start to twinkle and plans to gather with loved ones come together, it’s a good time to think about keeping ourselves and each other safe, especially as the colder months set in. 🎄✨ With the winter chill in full swing, it’s more important than ever to be mindful of our well-being – both physical and mental. Here are a few friendly reminders to help us all stay warm, healthy, and merry this season: 🌬️ Wrap Up Warm: It’s tempting to dash out without that extra layer, but colder temperatures can surprise us! A cosy coat, scarf, and gloves can make all the difference. 🧣 Keep Indoor Spaces Cosy and Ventilated: Heating up our homes can feel lovely, but let’s remember to ventilate rooms when possible, especially if we’re hosting family and friends. Fresh air keeps us healthier indoors! 🫖 Stay Hydrated and Nourished: With holiday treats everywhere, it’s easy to forget the basics. Keep drinking water and enjoy hearty, balanced meals to boost energy and immune health. 💻 Look Out for Each Other: Whether it’s a quick video call or a catch-up over coffee, keeping in touch is vital, especially for those who might be feeling a bit isolated. A little chat can go a long way to lift spirits. 🚶 Stay Active: Even a short daily walk can work wonders to lift our mood and keep us warm. If it’s frosty outside, consider some gentle indoor exercises to keep moving. 🎅 Be Kind to Yourself: The holidays can be overwhelming, so remember to take things at your own pace. Rest is just as important as productivity, so let’s all give ourselves permission to relax when we need to. Wishing everyone a joyful and safe season filled with warmth and wonderful memories. Here’s to staying cosy, connected, and caring as we step into the colder months together! #WinterWellness #StaySafe #HolidaySeason #LookAfterYourself #GlenellyIS

Mindful consumption during the festive season: 1. Create a budget: Set a realistic budget for gifts and holiday expenses to avoid overspending 2. Shop mindfully: Consider the environment and social impact of your purchases. Choose sustainable and ethically produced products. 3. Give experience, Not things: Gift experiences like tickets to a show, a cooking class or a spa day. These gifts create lasting memories and often have a smaller environmental footprint. 4. Practice Gratitude: Focus on what you already have and express gratitude for the blessings in your life. 5. Mindful eating: Enjoy festive treats in moderation and savor each bite. 6. Spend quality time with loved ones: Prioritize meaningful connections with family and friends over material possessions. . . . I believe, by incorporating these practices into your holiday season, you can experience a more fulfilling and meaningful festive period. Happy Holidays🥂 ✨ #Mindfuleating #Mindfulspending #Festivemotivation #selfawareness #consciousliving #questioneveryything #selfimprovement #Holidayspirit #Innatehabits

Your looking in the wrong places I know the busy festive season is coming, but let's be honest, you will always be busy. So my message to you is, please stop overcomplicating things that prevent you from reaching the best version of yourself, which will, in turn, help your work life, family life and anything in life, You might always be looking for the perfect diet, training plan, or routine. You might even consider ice baths, saunas, and supplements, but you're looking in the wrong places. These are not the key factors that will drive your progress. If you want results, you need one thing: OWNERSHIP. Get clear about what you want. Understand what needs to happen to achieve it, and then commit to the process. You will enjoy the Christmas period more. Be consistent, and then assess how well your approach is working. Most people are their own worst enemy when it comes to achieving results. Keep it simple and work hard and smart. With Christmas approaching, it’s easy to use it as an excuse for not doing what you know needs to be done. However, many of you are aware of the actions you should be taking, yet you aren't doing it. Take some time to relax and reflect. Ask yourself: Are you where you want to be in life and happy with how you look and feel going into these last few months of 2024? Are you truly happy with your situation? Don’t shy away from the truth. This is the only way to stop maintaining the same level of health and fitness and start progressing in a direction that will make you, your work, and your loved ones proud.

7 Healthy Holiday Habits to help you feel your best self during this festive season & beyond into 2025! 1. Start your day with 1 full glass of plain water upon waking - hydrate before you caffeinate! 💦 ☕️ 2. ✍🏼 Journal your thoughts to help gain perspective on current stressors. As well, jot down all the to-do tasks floating around in your mind (possibly contributing to anxiety) into priority lists - one thing at a time ✔️ 3. Focus on protein at every meal - shooting for 20-30g per main meal (depending on individual nutritional needs) for less cravings & more sustainable energy 💪🏃🏻 4. Practice the art of ‘saying no’ more often - say no to what depletes/drains your cup, then yes to what feels right - protect your energy 🫶 5. Acts of kindness and giving back to others in ways that are meaningful - holding doors open for strangers, donating to the local food bank etc. 6. Move your body mindfully every single day. Short stretching bouts at your desk, walks after dinner, dancing around with your kids 7. Connect with others more. A simple text or call can really impact how someone else is feeling this time of year. Reach out and plan a cozy tea date maybe? Share with us in the comments what other healthy habits you focus on this season. #medicalteam #healthyhabits #habits #mindset #dailymovement #healthynewyear #happyholidays

2024 is not over yet! December is here and that gives us one more month to work toward our goals, smash through plateaus, and pick up momentum for 2025. Sure, some may put up their out-of-office early or coast through the month just waiting for the "magical" clean slate of January 1. I love the holiday festivities, enjoying the merriment of the season, baking and indulging in intentional and healthy ways as much as anybody. And it'd be such a shame to waste the remaining 29 days because it seems like: - people are checking out - It its not possible to fit it all in - everything that can be done has been done, so why keep pushing? - any other number of reasons Here's the truth: every day is a unique opportunity to keep moving forward. Imagine what's possible in 2025 if you treated Dec 1 like January 1. Cheering for you this month and always! ++ I'm Dana, founder of BrandWell Marketing. We help health and wellness brands build trust online with ethical marketing strategies that enhance visibility, drive audience connection, and create a steady stream of new clients/customers, sustainably.
