🍷 Wine & Real Estate? Yes, please! From the Old World to the New World, vineyard real estate is one of the hottest categories in the luxury portfolio. Vineyard properties are finding buyers in all the famous—as well as the lesser-known—wine regions of the world. From the châteaux of Bordeaux and the Quintas of the Douro, the bodegas of Rioja, and villas of Chianti to the estates of Mendoza, Napa and the Willamette valleys, wherever the land is devoted to wine production and wineries, the vineyard estate is king. The vineyard property, the winery and its wine are an investment and a legacy. The intrinsic value of a vineyard is its terroir, its real estate. The journey from vine to wine begins with terroir: the interaction of soil, light, weather, drainage, elevation, and other environmental factors that give each wine its distinctive character. But terroir is just one of the considerations facing the potential buyer, owning a vineyard is more than a lifestyle or a business, it’s a labor of love, a daily encounter with the earth and the elements. With your own vineyard estate, the wine trail ends at home! #InternationalRealEstate #VineyardRealEstate #DeniseBenzaquen #InternationalLiving #RealEstateInvestments #HighYield #RealEstateExpert #PropertyInvestments

EN PRIMEURS 2023 - CHÂTEAU SOUTARD RELEASE Château Soutard, Saint-Emilion Grand Cru Classé, is one of the oldest properties of Saint-Emilion. Their 35 hectares contiguous vineyard is representative of the limestone plateau. Château Soutard’s wines have a subtle mixture of strength and elegance, witnessing the natural majesty of this wonderful terroir. Mild, the beginning of the year 2023 is marked by significant rainfall favoring both rapid vegetative development and strong mildew pressure. At the end of May, flowering is rapid. A rainy spring precedes a summer punctuated by two heat waves. Lively and with a beautiful tension, the palate combines aromas of citrus and fruits (red and black) with subtly powdery tannins. CHÂTEAU SOUTARD 2023 - GRAND CRU CLASSÉ - SAINT-ÉMILION - Rouge Blend: 57% Merlot - 29% Cabernet Franc - 7% Cabernet Sauvignon - 7% Malbec 92-94 Points Jeb Dunnuck 92-94 Points Vinous 93-95 Points Robert Parker 94-95 Points James Suckling #LuxFineWines #GreatestWinesOfTheWorld #LuxaviationFineWines

Challenges in Bordeaux 💣 Climate Change and Economic Pressures Bordeaux faces significant changes due to climate change and economic pressures. Rising temperatures have led to the introduction of heat-resistant grape varieties like Marselan and Albariño. Meanwhile, declining demand has resulted in surplus wine, some of which is being distilled or discarded. Both affected by a change of demand from the market. Less alcohol, elegant wine styles and fresh looks are some of the key factors. It's not something to worry about when you're on top of the wine pyramid for so many years. Until the new generation is there... Despite these challenges, Bordeaux winemakers are innovating little by little. Like this wine made by Domaines Comte de Malet Roquefort. The wine still has all the allure and classy style we know a Bordeaux wine for. But for sure it's part of the start: a new Bordeaux era... 🌐

WHICH IS WHICH? Your Weekly Guessing Game Question 14. Britain or Brittany? 🗝️to question 13: LEFT: South Wales in the UK, with most of the nearly 30 Welsh vineyards, produces top-quality vintages. It is a booming industry with over 20 grape varieties in a unique landscape and microclimate where sheep’s white wool helps to ripen the grapes. RIGHT: New South Wales is a state in the southeast of Australia, with Sydney, the Blue Mountains, rainforests, and long beaches with dramatic cliffs. It also has 24 wine regions and 501 wineries producing a range of extremely diverse wines. Kangaroos often hop between the vines. ❓ Wow! Look at the two dramatic coastlines. One of them is a well-known landmark facing “the continent”, and the other one, lying more or less opposite, is a stretch of romantic seaside. Which is which? Where exactly were the photos taken?

Bodega Manuel Quintano Labastida was founded in 1964 in the epicenter of Rioja Alavesa. Manuel Quintano Labastida continues with its pioneering spirit with more than 400 hectares that are nestled between the banks of the Ebro River and the foothills of the Sierra Cantabria in one of the most unique and privileged areas in all of Rioja. The vines are protected from the Atlantic wind and rain while enjoying the warm air currents brought from the Mediterranean by the Ebro.
