If you haven’t configured DoT(DNS over TLS) or DoH(DNS over HTTPS) for your internal DNS server to prevent MiTM(Man in the Middle) Attack and DNS snooping attacks and configured dns caching, don’t sleep with your 2 eyes closed on your DNS Infrastructure setup. I often see people rely so much on DNSSEC for dns server security, DNSSEC ain't doing much of protection and preventing you from dns packets eve-drop, you need a proper DoT for dns traffic encryption to prevent MiTM attack against your DNS Infrastructure setup. #cloudengineering #cloudcomputing #cloudnative #networking #networksecurity #cybersecurity

What is 𝐁𝐚𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐡𝐨𝐬𝐭? A bastion host, often called a "jump box," is a special-purpose server that provides a secure gateway between a private network and the internet. It can be regarded as a proxy server because it allows client machines to connect to remote servers while protecting the network from external threats. The bastion host provides a secure entry point for users to reach instances in a private subnet, ensuring that connections to other instances are tightly controlled and protected. #BastionHost #JumpBox #CyberSecurity #NetworkSecurity #AWS #PrivateNetwork #ProxyServer #SecureAccess #CloudComputing #NetworkGateway
