What’s the value of the item inside? This question stumps me when I’m posting something at the Post Office. ”Well, the book cost me £14.99… But if I implement the strategies and advice inside, over the next 12 months it could be worth over £100,000” No wonder I get some funny looks… It’s the same with your photography or video services. The value of your time plus the resources you used to create the digital products is NOT the value of the services you provide. If you get it right for your client (which you will), the photos and videos you’re creating could be worth tens, if not hundreds of thousands of pounds/dollars. So remember, you’re not just selling your time or experience. You’re selling a valuable outcome for your client. Be confident when talking about price with your clients. They value what you provide in more ways than you realise. #photographer #videographer #photography #video #business
Very true! I frame it as an investment which is tailored to their specific business goals. For example "If you want to achieve X does it not make sense to invest Y?"
Absolutely true Dan. Though sometimes (often?) you have to convince them of this fact.
Great advice as always!
Well said!
😍 😍
I love the way you think, same as me. I will say you probably have the same opinion as when people say "oh no, i have had my car stolen!" Which actually means.........
Well said Dan

1moAbsolutely spot on! 💡 It's so important to recognize the true value we bring to our clients beyond just the hours we put in. Your insight about the potential return on investment from photography or video services is a game-changer! When we frame our offerings in terms of the outcomes they deliver, it completely shifts the conversation. Thanks for the reminder to be confident and value-driven when discussing pricing!
