🆘 The Startup Journey Vol. 2: Don't forget to smile I talk about the negatives and challenges of building Peak 72 a lot. And the reason I do that is because, like how I want to run the business, I want to be open. Be transparent. Be honest. Because people appreciate honesty. But at the same time, it's not all negatives and challenges. There are huge positives, and parts of the day that are amazing. Which counter those that are a bit shit. I get to talk to amazing people every day. From the most junior to seasoned CEOs. And I get to talk at length to brilliant leaders about their experiences. I've never learnt more than I'm learning now, every day. And it's great. And that's without even mentioning that email or phone call that comes in to say, 'Can you help us?'. They're the best. So it's not all bad, sometimes it's pretty f*cking good. Just need to remember: don't forget to smile.

It's a rollarcoaster for sure. Sometimes we focus on the challenges too much, but we need to remember to celebrate the little milestones, the small wins and not forget why we decided to set out on this unpredictable adventure. Keep smiling Dan Maisey
