The study "Rethinking African Food systems leadership" recognizes that to address structural power imbalances, actors must rid themselves of the silo-ed approach and open themselves to dialogue to effectively and collectively champion knowledge that they value. In response to this, we continue to give diverse stakeholders a platform to connect and forge a way forward with common purpose through the Food Systems Leadership Programme. Explore new perspectives on #foodsystems leadership on this article that shares insights from the study https://buff.ly/43rAw47

Do you know the difference? Yesterday we were training managers at Winterwood Farms Ltd and BerryWorld, United Kingdom and we discussed Gen Z and the different generations. We were then shown some different Blueberries. I couldn’t believe the difference between the different varieties. It’s a little like different Generations. Some are sweet, some are bitter and some are juicier! Like we need to know how generations operate, we also need to know what we are buying. I will never just throw a pack in my basket again! #generationz #leadership #management

If you’re a community leader (all the roles are leadership roles), and your community is part of a business, profit or non-profit, you are a BUSINESS leader. Your community is a BUSINESS function. The results you drive should drive the BUSINESS. You are a BUSINESS leader. If you’re not there yet, surround yourself with BUSINESS leaders who can help you get there. This isn’t about becoming more community aware, it’s about figuring out and growing your BUSINESS acumen. Agree? Stay kind and curious. #communitymanagement #communitygrowth #businessacumen #leadership

there's still time to book onto my networking event on the 4th July - just sign up on the Eventbrite link below! I'll be talking about how coaching can help you avoid burnout and how I'm changing the format of my annual business retreat to make it much more accessible. Anyone involved in growing a business knows how important it is to look after yourself and take time out to get a different perspective on issues - please get in touch if you would like to see how I can help you do just that! #resilience #personaldevelopment #coaching
I deliver coaching to Chief Execs, Directors, Managers and their teams across the North West and North Wales.
Thursday 4 July is going to be an interesting day for many reasons, not least of which is the launch of my Barnhill Business Club’s networking sessions at the Cock O’Barton. The first event, running from 6 – 8 pm, also marks another important milestone for my business, as I celebrate 25 years of Barnhill Consulting. Over that time, I am very proud to have helped many businesses – and individuals – grow and develop through leadership coaching. Join me for a beer and burger (other food and drink is available!), and catch-up with other like-minded businesspeople, in a setting where you can share some of your business challenges in a safe and supporting environment. I will also be sharing a few top tips and telling you more about my planned retreat in November. For more information visit: https://lnkd.in/e_HbzUQs
