Week-over-week, the momentum at Syatt just keeps building. It’s entrepreneurial, it’s challenging, and honestly, it’s a lot of fun. 𝗛𝗲𝗿𝗲’𝘀 𝗮 𝗯𝗲𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗱-𝘁𝗵𝗲-𝘀𝗰𝗲𝗻𝗲𝘀 𝗹𝗼𝗼𝗸 𝗮𝘁 𝘄𝗵𝗮𝘁’𝘀 𝗯𝗲𝗲𝗻 𝗸𝗲𝗲𝗽𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘂𝘀 𝗯𝘂𝘀𝘆 𝗹𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗹𝘆: • 𝗛𝗲𝗮𝗱𝗹𝗲𝘀𝘀 𝗮𝗿𝗰𝗵𝗶𝘁𝗲𝗰𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗲 𝗲𝘅𝗽𝗹𝗼𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻: We’re working with a prospect on a Hydrogen project that’s solving a fascinating gap in the market. Their custom needs and the headless build-out are lighting up our technical team—hard to imagine a more exciting challenge. P.S. We have a few hydrogen projects in the pipe. • 𝗣𝗣𝗣 𝗶𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗴𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗮𝗿𝗰𝗵𝗶𝘁𝗲𝗰𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗲: We’re collaborating with a 3P payment provider and Shopify -- looking to utilize Shopify’s Payment Partner Program, a new offering for payment partners to integrate directly. This opens up a ton of opportunities for innovation, and it’s been amazing to dive in. • 𝗨𝗻𝗶𝗳𝗶𝗲𝗱 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗺𝗲𝗿𝗰𝗲 𝗱𝗶𝘀𝗰𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗲𝘀: We’re deep into several projects here, and some of us just got back from an exclusive roadmap event on POS and Unified Commerce in NYC • 𝗦𝗵𝗼𝗽𝗶𝗳𝘆 𝗔𝘂𝗱𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲𝘀 𝗲𝘅𝗽𝗹𝗼𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻: We’re working with a merchant whose loyalty program spans tens of millions of people, and it’s been a privilege to go through a detailed walkthrough of Shopify Audiences with one of the product leads. • 𝗙𝗮𝘀𝗵𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗶𝗻𝘀𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁𝘀 𝗶𝗻 𝗠𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗹: I just returned from a quick trip to Montreal, where I had the chance to visit some incredible Canadian fashion retailers. So much opportunity for them. • 𝗕𝗶𝗴 𝗻𝗲𝘄𝘀 𝗶𝗻𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗴: Keep an eye out next week—we’ve got something exciting dropping for NRF! Building meaningful things, tackling tough problems, and working with good humans is a lot of fun. Huge thanks to everyone who supports, partners, and trusts us on this journey.

Hello August, July it's a wrap. And we're back with our monthly recap. You've probably noticed some changes – the most noticeable one being the Zora takeover by Syd Leigh on their personal feed. Shopify for Content Creators returned and it's taking on new forms. If your interested in Creators and Commerce, make sure to follow them. Every month we like to reflect. June reminded us to get back to our why. So we spent July getting into alignment ✨ We already shared Why Zora, and Why Shopify. So we figured we kick-off the recap with why NOVL. Now that we’re past the Theme Review where we openly shared our experience and on the Theme Store, you’ve come to know us as Shopify Theme partners. While we’re big fans of Shopify as you can see, Shopify isn’t our identity. Our identity is our diverse culture, passions and values which is what we use to inspire the work we create and the impact we make. Sometimes that looks like innovation and other times it looks like knowing when and how to utilize what exists. That’s NOVL. And the goal is helping the not so typical do commerce by the not so typical. Going forward we'll use this space to share key updates, process, and announcements. You'll continue to see more changes and we’ll share them as they organically unfold. Until next time continue to be NOVL.

As of today, KNO is used by over 5,000 Shopify stores 🎉 ! This chart shows what we all know to be true. Growth takes time and consistency. 2 things stand out to me when I see this number: 1) Brands are the real heroes. You're the reason why we do this and, frankly, why we're in business. Even after 2.5 years, I hear of a new KNO use case weekly because brands are figuring out new use cases for our tool. Cheers to you. You know who y'all are. 2) We're just getting started. We have soooo much product innovation coming down the pipeline. New partnerships in the works with agencies, tech partners and platforms. Our CS team is cooking. And Seán Mancillas just joined the team as Head of Product and I'm already super impressed. Expect some big product shifts to come from this. What a year.

You know that feeling when you realize your current platform just isn’t cutting it anymore? I used to run my entire business on Etsy, but as I grew, I felt locked in. 😫 If you’re in the same boat, let me share my journey of switching to Shopify and what a game changer it’s been. When I finally made the leap, it was like unlocking a whole new level for my brand. Shopify gave me the freedom to really establish my unique identity. I could customize my store, showcase my products in a way that reflected my story—something I couldn’t do on Etsy. Plus, I loved that I could actually own my customer data. This meant I could build an email list and market directly to my customers without any limitations. One of the standout features for me has been integrating Zonder AI. At first, I was hesitant, but once I saw how quickly it answered customer queries and made personalized product recommendations, my conversion rates started climbing. It felt fantastic to know my customers were getting the support they needed, right when they needed it. Have you ever switched platforms? What was your experience like? If you’re thinking about making the change, I’d say go for it! It’s been a huge relief and has really enhanced how I do business. #ZonderAI #Shopify #EcommerceSuccess

A challenging day yesterday for Shopify, 📉 although I'm feeling pretty reassured! We're not in a buoyant DTC climate right now. Harley Finkelstein emphasised the strength found in recurring revenues from existing businesses—evidence of a solid, sustainable base in the current global financial squeeze, especially noticeable in the UK. I do feel Shopify is not just surviving; it's gearing up for future growth with investments in innovative technologies like Hydrogen, Sanity, and Commerce Components that we're super excited about 🚀. They’re positioning to make a significant impact in the Enterprise space, and we're definitely seeing Shopify come up in more conversations at this scale. How do you see Shopify's strategy impacting its long-term success? 🤔

Day 19 of 30 days consistency. You know that feeling when you hit a small milestone, and it feels like you’re on top of the world? That happened recently with one of my client projects, and I can’t help but share. We were working on optimizing her Shopify store. Nothing too drastic—just some tweaks to product descriptions, improving the navigation, and adding a "Frequently Bought Together" section. Simple, right? But here’s the cool part: within two weeks, her average order value increased by 10%. It wasn’t a major overhaul. It was just about consistent, intentional improvements. These “small wins” not only boosted her sales but also gave her the confidence to keep going with bigger changes. Here’s the lesson: progress doesn’t always have to be a leap it can be a step. So, whatever you’re working on, don’t overlook the little victories. They’re the building blocks of something much bigger. What’s your latest small win? Let’s celebrate it together. #ShopifyVA #SmallWins #Daniekeystechhub

The “Top 100” Shopify Apps Report 🌶️ Jeremy Horowitz' and Will Holtz put together this resource, and there’s LOTS in here. 🍿 The largest question, though, is what happens this year as folks continue to consider consolidation and cost savings? With all this fragmented customer data, who is best positioned to pull it all together, get the right message to the right customer, and help brands increase LTV to sustain rising CAC and navigate Meta’s unpredictability? Time will tell, but I do know that the Yotpo squad has some tricks up our sleeves. 🧑🍳 P.S. The competition in this space is keeping everyone on their toes. In a good way. Competition will breed some real innovation in next few months/years.

🟣 Shopify decided to kick down the traditional corporate ladder with the launch of a new talent system ~Mastery 👇 In most companies, people can only advance by climbing the corporate ladder, often forcing them into management roles that steer them away from their true passion: their craft. 🧑💻 Example: Great devs become managers, and end up spending all their time on things outside the code base... Don't want to manage people = no way for you to really climb up the ladder. ❌ This phenomenon is known as "the Peter Principle" and e-commerce player Shopify is hellbent on breaking it. ~Mastery to Shopify is a new talent system introduced to reward people for doing the work they love to do - check the full video below 🎬 👩🔧 Shopify's manifesto mentions that "great craftsmanship fuels the world's most exceptional products". 👑 Enter ~Mastery, a system that prioritizes, recognizes & rewards Shopify team members who are on the continuous journey of improving their craft, without funneling them into adjacent career paths they might not want. ✅ ~Mastery is built for and rewards those who show up better to work every day. The ones who give a 💩 It's for those who work hardest in service of Shopify's mission, and who, along the way, pick up extraordinary skills. 🤔 Why the tilde (~) in ~Mastery? Because mastery isn't a destination; it's a journey. It's not precisely quantifiable and is ever-evolving. It's an approximation, a symbol of the company's commitment to lifelong learning and growth. ➡️ What do you think of this approach? Would you like this at your own company? 💬
