It was a pleasure to speak to the Step Two community on the topic - Voices from the Heart - Partnering with Staff for Organisational Success. A big thank you to Rebecca Rodgers for the opportunity and to all the participants for your fantastic questions on measurement, influencing leaders, and getting started. There's a noticeable generational clash in the workplace, especially with Gen Z (born 1997-2012) starting to enter the workforce. Their preference for flexibility, casual communication, and tech-driven approaches is shaking up traditional work norms. Older generations often perceive them as entitled, informal, and quick to switch jobs. However, I believe it's crucial to embrace Gen Z's values since they represent the future of work.
