The goal of #diversity #equity and #inclusion is NOT to simply and crudely replace white men with multiply-marginalised folks. ⚫️ The goal of DE&I is to dismantle exclusion, inequity, and “sameness”. 🟤 The goal is to implement performance criteria and expectations of leaders, including the ability to cultivate and safeguard an inclusive culture. ⚪️ The goal is to ensure those who do stay in their leadership roles, meet a standard of performance which should include DE&I.
