While we are approaching the publishing of our new CSR report for the year 2024 which will follows EFRAG indications, our base approach after 2 years of ESG simplify reports has been to highlight our sustainability concerns in the jointed preparative document for the 2023 to pave the route to a more exhaustive subsequent study on our impacts. We just completed in November the double materiality analysis for year 2024 and we are now planning to publish a new documents for the beginning of the new year. In the meantime enjoy this first insight about our vision. #CSR #CleanAirEurope #ESG #sustainability

For anyone interested in sustainability sector standards... A recent International Sustainability Standards Board (ISSB) Staff Paper on the maintenance and enhancement of the SASB Standards offers a comparative table of the different sector standards with EFRAG, Global Reporting Initiative (GRI) (https://lnkd.in/e7XYUQri) Sector standards are becoming hugely valuable as credible inputs to a #materialityassessment (whatever perspective you take) and make it easier for companies #starting a sustainability reporting journey. It's good to have visibility on what's here now, and what's coming. #paradigmshift #sustainablefinance #sustainabilitydisclosures #esgdata #esg

Sector standards are great benchmarking inputs for double materiality assessments. Great to see continous comparisons between the standards!

Find more details about the methodology here: https://lnkd.in/dP6tKnG8 As requirements change, we will continuously support adapting this research-based approach to foster transparency and stakeholder trust. We already look forward for next year's awards and are curious, which companies show reporting excellence and are able to adapt to the changing environment. It was great to attend the ESG Summit in Dublin's Croke Park and to witness the growing interest in corporate sustainability. ☘️ The event underscored the urgency for businesses to prepare for the CSRD reporting deadlines by addressing a critical question: are they merely "doing" sustainability to meet compliance, or are they "being" sustainable by embedding these principles into their core operations? The CSRD, among the most advanced sustainability directives, is set to revolutionize corporate transparency. Ownership of sustainability reporting must extend across the organization, involving everyone to ensure a fully integrated and compliant approach. A highlight of the summit was the emphasis on the Double Materiality Assessment (DMA) as the foundation for CSRD compliance. The DMA not only defines the narrative for creating auditable reports but also challenges businesses to thoroughly understand their value chains, dissect relevant topics and subtopics, and validate their findings rigorously. The insights from the summit reaffirm that with the right tools, businesses can navigate these challenges efficiently. #CSRD #ESG #Sustainability #Greenomy #ESGSummit

💀 Could Sustainability Reporting be Dead? 💀 Phoebe Whittome and I were really pleased to launch SB+CO’s latest research yesterday. Over the summer we’ve been speaking to sustainability practitioners about what #CSRD means for their sustainability reporting. We heard 3 big challenges: 1️⃣ How do you show what actually matters, when #doublemateriality is finding so much to be material. 2️⃣ There is a big gap between stakeholders perceptions of impacts and the objective reality, opening up a new challenge for sustainability communications. 3️⃣ Disclosures required for CSRD are (at times) leading to ESG risks being overstated compared to information disclosures on non-ESG information (e.g. Principle Risks and Uncertainties). We’ve proposed three scenarios for the future of sustainability communication in the era of CSRD. Read our article to find out what they are - it’s linked in the comments 👇 Penny Baxter | Nick Wyver | Kate Jones | Nigel Salter

We’re pleased to launch the first publication in the Canadian ESG thought leadership series titled Canadian Sustainability Reporting is at a Turning Point: The State of Sustainability in 2024 (attached and linked here). In this inaugural report, we analyzed over 80% of the 2024 TSX 60 companies’ sustainability reports, providing key takeaways and data points on the Canadian sustainability reporting landscape. With new regulations like Bill C-59 increasing scrutiny on environmental claims and proposed new standards on the horizon, companies face rising communication risks and pressures. Our aim is to help clients prepare for the 2025 reporting season and navigate the uncertainties in Canada’s rapidly evolving sustainability landscape.
