The best advise nobody tells you: You need to work on your relationships. In the Middle East even more so than anywhere else in the world. And no it is not enough to just talk when you are in the process of doing business. It has to be Before, During and After. And long after. Did anyone ever mention this? Plus: It requires Work. Effort. Consistency. And exactly this has helped me to: 💌 get invited to the first ever F1 race in Saudi 🤝 gain the trust of lots of Royals that are just a text away in multiple Gulf countries 💍 get invited to weddings 💸 get continuous business and being referred to others without me having to ask for it and it has opened so many doors. But not just for me - also for my Western Clients that suddenly find themselves busy with new Recommendations, new Clients and a Calendar full of sought after Invites. And the one thing we all have in common: we worked on our Relationships. But not just Monday to Friday... For years. Because we realised that this is not a short term gain initiative - it is a long term investment. And this is not a process where I recommend you that you should connect with your clients for holidays. (yes that is part of it but only a tiny part) There is a lot more to it. And this is why I break down all these steps for my Middle East Hub Members in my August MasterClass. Remember: one step will move you further but consistent effort always pays off in the long run. Just like the Olive Tree in the picture behind me: it takes time to grow. #middleeast #saudiarabia #qatar #uae ps. so make you are on my list for when the Middle East Hub opens again: https://lnkd.in/daUHpzbj
You’re absolutely right here, Corina - relationship is key, especially in the Middle East.. 👍🏼
Yes relationships are fundamental and it’s a shame we don’t have a similar approach in the western world. It’s so nice getting to know the whole person if you are doing business with them. I’m sure you’re a hugely positive asset to your clients too!
It's all happening for Corina....lucky you and great going...
To expect results without cultivating them is wishful thinking at best, Corina...
This is such a valid point. It's not simply a one-time thing and in both personal/professional realms, we can always refine those relationships. 👏 Probably one of the most underrated skills nowadays, building sturdy and reliable relationships to overcome challenges.
Relationships are so important Corina
Relationships are so important but you have to put the effort in to see the value like you clearly have done Corina Goetz but as you've shown, it's so worth it.
Business is relationships. Thats why I spend so much time talking to and helping my network Corina Goetz
I could not agree more, Corina! My experience in the Middle East as well as in North Africa brought this home to me repeatedly. Human connection is key. It precedes anything else. It lasts longer than anything else. It will be the 'make or break' in the region.

4moThis is crucial advice, and it’s crucial everywhere in the world. Relationships should not be transactional.
