Today we come together to ask a simple question: "Are You Okay?" We often work in remote and isolating environments, which makes it even more important to tap a mate or a colleague on the shoulder and ask if they are doing okay, not just today but any day. Checking in on each other, lending an ear, and offering support is part of our culture. A small question, like "Are You Okay?" can be the start of a conversation that could change someone's day—or life. Let's continue to look out for one another, not just today but every day. #RUOKDay #MentalHealthMatters #WeCare #SafetyAndSupport

R U OK? Day is a timely reminder that life happens every day – not just on one day of the year. A lot can happen in a year, a month, or even a week. Whether it’s a friend, family member, colleague, or partner, the people we care about experience life’s ups and downs all the time. Let’s encourage regular, meaningful conversations, building trust and normalising talking about what’s really going on in our lives. R U OK? Day is our National Day of Action, but it’s important to remember that asking “R U OK?” is something we can do any day of the year. A simple conversation can make a big difference – it might even change a life. Many companies offer an Employee Assistance Program (EAP) to their employees and immediate family members to access. Let’s continue to be there for each other, today and always. https://www.ruok.org.au/ If you, or someone you know, needs support or is experiencing a mental crisis, call Lifeline (13 11 14), Kids Helpline (1800 55 1800), Beyond Blue (1300 22 4636) or 000 if life is in danger. #RUOK #mentalhealthandwellbeing #wellnessatwork #HRM hashtag #HRManagement #HRConsultants

Sometimes the bravest thing you can say is, “I need help.” It’s a simple act that can break the cycle of loneliness and open the door to support and connection. That’s why it’s so important to teach this mindset early in life. When we show children that asking for help is a strength, not a weakness, we empower them to grow into confident adults who face challenges with courage and build meaningful connections—whether at work, at home, or anywhere in between. This small lesson has the power to transform lives.
A lot of us suffer in silence at work. Because we feel alone. Because we don't see any support. But the first step to handling this would be to speak up. Sometimes the bravest thing you can say at your workplace is "Help". #employee #mentalhealth #support #help

National Workplace Day of Remembrance Today, on National Workplace Day of Remembrance, we pause to honour and reflect on those who have lost their lives while at work. It’s a stark reminder of the critical importance of workplace safety and our shared responsibility to ensure every employee returns home safe at the end of the day. Behind every statistic is a person—a colleague, a friend, a family member—whose life was cut short. Their stories compel us to act with greater vigilance, to continuously improve safety standards, and to foster cultures where health and safety are non-negotiable. On this day, let’s: 🕯️ Reflect: Take a moment to remember those who have been lost and the families, co-workers, and communities forever impacted. 💡 Commit: Reaffirm our dedication to safety, whether through leadership, policy, or individual responsibility. 🤝 Advocate: Work to ensure health and safety are priorities in every workplace, regardless of role, industry, or location. Let this day not only be about remembrance but also about action. Together, we can build safer workplaces and honour those we've lost by preventing future tragedies. #NationalWorkplaceDayOfRemembrance #WorkplaceSafety #HealthAndSafety #NeverForget #SaferWorkplaces
