(Based on a thought I have shared in my book "Relashuns to Relashines) You may keep on asking me, being a good friend, that I need to give you direct feedback however uncomfortable it may be. Yet, I will not. Because, I would wait for the right moment and right method. It would have to be in such a way that you get the message without feeling hurt. And there are ways to do it which need conscious learning. I understand from experience that giving you a direct uncomfortable feedback at that time when you are being emotional, may actually hurt you. You may make a brave face and yet, inside you may carry that resentment. #RameshSood #simplySOOD® #Coaching

🚀 Just finished reading "Chatter: The Voice in Our Head and How to Harness It" by Ethan Kross, and found it fascinating 📚 This book delves deep into our mind's chatter—that constant inner voice we all have. Kross explains its evolutionary purpose, but also how it can spiral into a negative loop, trapping us in a cycle of self-doubt and anxiety. This is the killer quote: “The most effective verbal exchanges are those that integrate both the social and the cognitive needs of the person seeking support.” This is precisely where coaching shines. A skilled coach doesn’t just listen—they help clients navigate their emotions, gain clarity, and most importantly, take actionable steps forward. The process integrates emotional support with cognitive strategies, leading to tangible growth and change. For those skeptical about the value of coaching, I highly recommend giving this book a read. It might just shift your perspective and highlight the profound impact that a good coach can have on your personal and professional life. https://lnkd.in/ePtsJcEV #Coaching #PersonalDevelopment #MentalWellness #Leadership #EthanKross #Chatter #BookRecommendation

Capacity is a word that has been helping my clients set well communicated boundaries in personal and professional relationships. How many times have you stretched yourself past your point of capacity and then feeling resentful towards the people you are giving to. Through self awareness work, and radical self love and responsibility, my clients (both in my group coaching program as well as my 1:1 clients) are learning the power of being able to self advocate and communicate what you have capacity for. This is very difficult for those of us who struggle with people pleasing and this of us who derive our worth by our work and the roles we have been assigned in other people's lives. Unlearning people pleasing behaviors and connecting to our inherent work is the HARD work that we have to intentionally do. Not communicating your capability will lead to a mountain of resentment and disconnection with self and those around you. #lifecoach #selfawareness #speaker #author

Chapter 6 of my book 'KISS your Life- The calm guide to keeping life successfully simple', illustrates the power of asking the right questions to direct your life towards results and achieving what you want. Learning to communicate with yourself and others successfully, influences thinking and behaviour and brings about positive change. ❓ If you are a coach, leader or educator then you will know the importance of your language and questions, and how they can positively impact others. ❓ Asking the right questions unlocks creativity and problem solving, increases motivation and action, improves collaboration and productivity, presupposes success and invites a mindset of curiosity and exploration. Hardly a couple of moments and in a spontaneous flow I wrote a, b, c, d, e, f, g, h, I, j, k, l, m, n, o, p, q, r, s, t, u. v, w, x, y, z. Somethings can never be forgotten. Because, we learn them by giving our heart, mind and rather, whole of ourselves. We spend endless hours repeating to get them embedded in our brains forever. Life would be beautiful if we can do this with practicing right behaviour. Isn't it possible? #simplySOOD® #RameshSood #Coaching #storytelling

(Warning: do this in a safe, comfortable space) 1. Draw two columns, one for your mother and one for your father (or whoever you see as a maternal/paternal figure in your life). 2. Write down the traits you love about each of them. 3. On a blank space, draw a circle for each “missing”—the traits you wish they’d had. 4. Reflect: How could you nurture these “missings” within yourself, to support the person you want to become? #coaching #coachingquestions #伤

If you are ignoring the role of the body in your coaching sessions then you are missing vast possibilities for lasting change for your clients. We as humans engage with the world around us through the body, our five senses, interoception (sensing of the body’s internal states) and proprioception (sensing the body’s position and movement). The body is always communicating with us, even more than our conscious thinking process is and honestly often more. If the body is restricted then the client's full cognitive processing is. When you bring the body into the conversation you help your clients to begin to think more creatively, fluidly and expressively within your coaching sessions. Curious? We teach you how to do just this in only two days during our upcoming virtual Embodiment in Coaching Workshop on December 7 & 8 or download our free Embodiment in Coaching ebook for more insights at https://lnkd.in/evaKcXYE. . . . #embodiedcoaching #coachingworkshop #embodiment #somatic #coachingtools #coachingtips #mindbodyconnection #icfcoach
