  • We see it all the time. The top two things preventing you from having a successful coaching business are: ✨ Rusty, unused skills because you go through the whole coaching training process feeling ready to take on the world, but as soon as it’s over, months go by as you watch your certificate begin to collect dust. You now are feeling out of touch with everything you learned and not confident to take on clients since you haven’t used your skills since the training. ✨ Lack of business development because you realized being a coach is actually a small business, but your coach training program didn’t even touch on it. The overwhelm of navigating through white noise and fancy rhetoric about how to run one left you in total paralysis by analysis and uncertain where to begin in getting your coaching business up and running. We’ve spent 20+ years figuring it out so you don’t have to. And both are a pretty easy fix if you have the right guidance. Our new business development course - THRIVE - is open for you to begin right away and start gaining the steps towards a sustainable coaching business. And our upcoming January intensive foundation coach training - ESSENTIALS - will get you brushed up on those unused coaching skills in just five weeks. It’s easy to get it caught up in thinking we know our clients so well that we might be intimidated by trying a new tool that might feel a little outside-of-the-box for them, but what if it’s exactly what they needed to shift their perspective and glean new insight? We love this story and reminder from Rod’s own coaching experience. It reminds us as coaches it’s okay to take some risk and get our clients out of their comfort zone. You never know what might land in a way that is even more impactful than you thought! Have you tried this approach? Let us know below! . . . #coachingsessions #coachingsessiontips #coachingtools #experiencecoaching #coacheshelpingcoaches

  • At InterActualizer, we don’t shy away from teaching you truly innovative and intuitive ways to work with your clients that actually work. Some of our favorites are: Exploring myth and storytelling to help paint an archetypal picture for your client to better identify their challenges and find creative solutions. Engaging the full body such as asking, “what does your heart think about this?” or inviting embodiment practices to help bring the bigger internal conversation online Working with nature by offering your clients the opportunity to engage with the outdoors and natural elements as part of your coaching session to shift perspective. With 20+ years of experience in the industry, we’ve seen it all and tried it all. We’veoften witnessed these lofty promises of fancy tips and tricks for success; however, these “out-of-the-box” or possibly just “out-of-the-normal” ways to help your client explore their full potential have proven time and time again to bring new insights, perspectives and solutions. Even more so, we’ve created our programs to ensure you as a coach experience these tools of transformation for yourself so that you can easily weave them into your coaching sessions from experience. Curious? You can easily start by joining us for our virtual Embodiment in Coaching Workshop on December 7 & 8 or download our free Embodiment in Coaching ebook: https://lnkd.in/evaKcXYE P.S. • Introducing our newest offering THRIVE! ✨ We coaches spend so much time concentrating on coaching skills and mastery that business development is a bit of an afterthought. Also there's little to no support after training completes, leaving many coaches left to the overwhelm of all the things marketers will claim you need on top of the whims of overpromising major success with a few “golden methods.” Here's where that changes. We’ve put together over two decades of experience in the coaching industry to create THRIVE - a high value, low cost business development program for coaches, both novices and pro, to support you in growing and developing a thriving coaching practice. Within THRIVE you will get 12 month access to amazing content modules packed with ebooks, guides, quizzes, resources, films and so much more, a dedicated private community group for ongoing support, and bi-monthly live sessions with Rod, Sherry and other expert guides. All self paced online so you can join in whenever and wherever. The best part is that it’s included for free with all of our coach training program tracks or you can purchase it as an individual program. It’s time to THRIVE: https://lnkd.in/gQ_jtjM9. . . . #coachingcourse #coachtrainingprogram #experiencecoaching #coachingbusiness #coachingtips #coachingbusinesssuccess #coachingbusinesstips

  • It could be said that a coach’s main task is to support the client to achieve their goals and aspirations by helping them to think more creatively, and take the actions around their insights and learning that will help them to develop. Creative thinking in our coaching sessions isn’t only accessed through the mind - the whole body has to be considered. When you look at it this way, there is a vast range of possibilities that you could missing out on a critical role in cognition, decision-making, creativity, insight and behavioral change. What do you think? Coaches, have you begun to integrate working with body into your coaching sessions? P.S. For those curious in journeying deeper on this topic, our ebook, Embodiment in Coaching, is ready for download and yours for free. We also have our 2-day Embodiment in Coaching Workshop kicking off this weekend! Head to https://lnkd.in/evaKcXYE for more. . . . #embodiment #coachingcourse #somaticpractice #somaticcoaching #coachingfortransformation #icfcoaching #icfcoaches

  • Powerful questions and great listening are important skills to know and hone as a coach, but you might be missing out on a huge part of your client’s internal processes for true lasting change. Here are 3 facts that prove coaching needs to be more than just conversation: ✅ Up to 90% of our communication is non-verbal. This points to the fact that the body (gestures, motion, posture etc.) appears to have a larger role in communicating meaning and intent than the words we speak do. ✅ Cognitive science has evolved the subset of Embodied Cognition. This has shown that the body critical to our conventional ‘thinking’ processes, it is also capable of solving complex scenarios without any recourse to internal representations and concept manipulation. ✅ Unconscious thought is 95% of all thought which actually shapes and structures our conscious thought. It’s through the body that we can tap into this process. If our core task as coaches is to help clients think in bigger and newer ways, then we must re-assess what we consider to be thinking and the mind itself within the framework of coaching. What do you think, coaching friends? Would love to hear your thoughts below! And don’t forget! We have a free ebook all about embodiment in coaching for you to learn more at https://lnkd.in/evaKcXYE. . . . #embodimentcoaching #mindbodycoach #coachingsessions #somaticoaching #somaticexperience #somaticwork #embodiedcognition

  • If you are ignoring the role of the body in your coaching sessions then you are missing vast possibilities for lasting change for your clients. We as humans engage with the world around us through the body, our five senses, interoception (sensing of the body’s internal states) and proprioception (sensing the body’s position and movement). The body is always communicating with us, even more than our conscious thinking process is and honestly often more. If the body is restricted then the client's full cognitive processing is. When you bring the body into the conversation you help your clients to begin to think more creatively, fluidly and expressively within your coaching sessions. Curious? We teach you how to do just this in only two days during our upcoming virtual Embodiment in Coaching Workshop on December 7 & 8 or download our free Embodiment in Coaching ebook for more insights at https://lnkd.in/evaKcXYE. . . . #embodiedcoaching #coachingworkshop #embodiment #somatic #coachingtools #coachingtips #mindbodyconnection #icfcoach
