Recently conducted a workshop on 'Time management' for the Inside Sales team of a reputed email solutions company. 📝Client brief- The team needed to understand the importance of scheduling and their relationship with time ➡️Topics covered: ✔️Efficiency vs busyness ✔️Common Time wasters ✔️Eisenhower matrix ✔️Time Management methods ✅️What went well! ✔️The workshop was quite hands-on where the participants got the opportunity to find gaps in individual planning of their day and also as a team how they could be more productive. ✔️Most importantly they understood how planning their schedules would help them enhance their quality of leads generation. ✔️Templates for time blocking, weekly/daily activity made as per their 5 top key activities 🔆What could be better? ✔️Overall slightly more energy in the room. The Eisenhower Matrix is a time management tool that helps individuals prioritize tasks based on their urgency and importance. It is divided into four quadrants: Quadrant 1: Urgent and Important Tasks that require immediate attention and are crucial to achieving significant goals. Examples: Crises, deadlines, and pressing problems. Quadrant 2: Not Urgent but Important Tasks that are important for long-term success but do not require immediate action. Examples: Planning, relationship building, and personal development. Quadrant 3: Urgent but Not Important Tasks that require immediate attention but are not crucial to long-term goals. Examples: Interruptions, some emails, and minor issues. Quadrant 4: Not Urgent and Not Important Tasks that are neither urgent nor important, often serving as distractions.
