We are thrilled to celebrate Rachel Laurs, Pg.D., City of Hope system vice president of Transformation Services and chief of staff, for being selected as one of 24 women health leaders in the prestigious The Carol Emmott Foundation Fellowship Program, Class of 2025! The 14-month fellowship, launching in January, is designed to elevate women leaders in health care by providing mentorship, professional networks and resources to advance health equity and diversity in health care leadership. Fellows are selected for their proven dedication to systemic change and improving health equity. In her impactful role at City of Hope, Rachel leads a dynamic team that acts as an internal consultancy and center of excellence, driving strategic initiatives, organizational transformation and culture change. "This fellowship represents a meaningful commitment to advancing inclusive leadership in health care, aligning seamlessly with City of Hope’s mission and core values — particularly our dedication to trailblazing through collaboration and learning," shares Rachel, who also serves as chief of staff to City of Hope’s chief transformation officer, Debra Fields. "I am excited and profoundly grateful for the opportunity to support the Carol Emmott Foundation’s mission while working alongside such inspiring and visionary leaders."
