Norse informs the markets on its dealings with a possible strategic partner has ended, without any agreement. The dealings via Seabury have been ongoing for about 6 months. Norse to continue as a «stand alone» airline with currently 12 B787s in operation (plus 3 on wet lease, to be returned in 2025). Who could be the mysterious strategic partner, not any easy guess, but canadian WestJet should not be ruled out, in my view. The summer peak months is expected to boost Norse sales and financial results, but time will show if cash/liquidity generated will be sufficient to avoid any capital injection during the comming winter season.

🔹 Connecticut-based Global Jet Capital, a global leader in financial solutions for business aircraft, has announced the closing of its BJETS 2024-2 securitization, raising approximately $617 million. BJETS 2024-2 is Global Jet Capital’s eighth asset-backed security (ABS) offering, bringing total assets securitized to approximately $5.8 billion and bonds issued to approximately $4.8 billion. 🔹 As with previous BJETS issuances, BJETS 2024-2 securitizes the cash flows from business aircraft loans and leases representing a diverse group of obligors and assets. BJETS 2024-2 includes 29 leases and loans to corporations and global business leaders representing 18 unique industries.
