If wine isn't your vibe, or you'd rather go non-alcoholic, then there are plenty of alternative drinks for the holidays! Mocktinis are one of our favourites, and only require two ingredients! 🍸 Grab 100ml non alcoholic vodka, or we recommend Seedlip Drinks Garden 108, and 50ml olive brine. Pour into a cocktail shaker with some ice and shake for 20 seconds, strain into a chilled glass, garnish, and serve. Simple, yet delicious.😍 What are your favourite celebratory drinks? Cocktails and creamy liqueurs can pack in more calories and sugar than you’d expect 🍹 And darker-coloured drinks, such as red wine, whisky and brandy, tend to have higher levels of a chemical compound called congener, which can contribute to hangovers 🍷🥃 Top tip: Opt for lighter-coloured drinks like prosecco, gin with soda water and fresh lime, or vodka as these have fewer congeners and are less likely to cause severe hangovers 🥂🍸 If you would like to see all 12 of my practical tips on how to navigate the festive season without sabotaging your health goals, wander over here: https://bit.ly/3Z6Zy6w #FestiveHealth #HealthTips #AlcoholAwareness #FeelYourBest #LiveBetter

What Not to Do ❌ Do not use salt and lime: 🍋 Although it is a common practice, using salt and lime can mask the flavors of the tequila. This custom arose with lower-quality tequilas but is unnecessary with premium tequilas. Do not freeze tequila: ❄ Freezing tequila can alter its structure and flavor. Moreover, extreme cold can hide the flavors and aromas that make tequila special. Do not drink excessively: ⛔ As with any alcoholic beverage, it is important to consume tequila in moderation. Excessive drinking not only affects your health but also prevents you from fully enjoying the experience. #tequila #TequilaConHistoria #Cheers #CelebrateWithTequila #TequilaProcess

🍹The moment Amanda Thomson discovers Noughty is Top 🔝 Pick in Good Housekeeping’s ‘12 Bottles of Christmas’ feature, is a spotlight on the dramatic shift in the drinks industry. 🥂 Rather than the usual line-up of Non-Alcoholic drinks as a separate category, this is their top selection of drinks across the board, from Port to Champagne. 💡They smartly decided to incorporate alcohol-free, just like so many wine drinkers do now in the way they enjoy our wine. 🧠Let’s dig into the data… 🕺🏻 Whether you’re a Blender (22%) - enjoying both alcoholic and non-alcoholic at same occasion - or a Substituter (38%) - switching one for the other, depending on the occasion. 😮 Interestingly, the Abstainers (15%) are a smaller piece of the data pie which may come as a surprise. Triallers (25%) meanwhile normally drink full strength alcoholic drinks and occasionally try a non-alcoholic beverage. 📝And what’s intriguing is that they rigourously maintain independence with their tasting panel. #winetasting #celebration #HolidayDrinking #nonalcoholic #alcoholfree

Did you know that Mountain Dew was originally created as a mixer to liquor? Tennessee bottlers Barney and Ally Hartman developed the then non-caffeinated drink in the 1940s to improve the taste of whiskey. In fact, Mountain Dew was Irish slang for moonshine or homemade whiskey. That said, it only makes sense for this fizzy favorite to be a key ingredient to this cocktail recipe. Ingredients: 1 oz Vodka 1 oz Peach Schnapps 1 oz Blue Curacao Mountain Dew Instructions: Fill a glass with ice. In a shaker, combine the vodka, peach schnapps and blue curacao. Shake well. Pour the mixture into the glass. Top it off with Mountain Dew. Garnish with a lime. Revel in the citrus and fruity combination.
