Frustrated by the lack of progress in your meetings? Try this: use a simple process for solving problems and making better decisions. EOS Worldwide has such a process: I - identify (before you start a discussion, first identify what the issue really is. What's the root problem? Get clear on what the true challenge is, then move to a healthy discussion!) D - discuss (healthy discussion is open and honest, clear and concise, respectful and patient. When you begin repeating yourself, move to solve!) S - solve (solve the problem or issue at the root level, so that it goes away forever and it's for the greater good of the organization!) Want to learn more? Watch the video below on The Issues Solving Track™ Tool Challenge: in your next meeting, consider using IDS to solve the right problems in the right way! https://lnkd.in/gMrKdYzt #leadership #management #leader #growth #eos #eosworldwide #eosprocess #develop #personalgrowth #leadershipgrowth #selfleadership #growth #strategy #boss #EOSI #eosimplementer #helpfirst #dotherightthing #1MCBCS

The ability to maintain your composure and sense of self in difficult circumstances, I believe are two of the main pillars of being a resilient leader. It's not about saying you have the ability to stand in tough times, it's actually doing it for the betterment of your business or place of employment. #growthmindset #resilientleadership #resilience

Every model is wrong, some are useful. In that spirit I am sharing this resource that we have found helpful in our various network leadership cohorts for stimulating thinking about "thinking," and habits that may or may not be "systemic" in nature. This is not about saying there is necessarily a "right way" of thinking, but rather that certain approaches and habits are useful for some situations and less so for others. So when grappling with #complexity and #diversity and #uncertainty, this set of practices can serve as a bit of a check on practice ... I am gathered today with 700+ EOS Implementers from around the world doing our annual. Last night, one of my peers that started doing EOS at the same time I did told me this was his favorite video and he made his clients watch it. To be transparent - I had not watched this video in over a year, and when I did this morning I was reminded of a couple of my core beliefs: 1. Individual own their development, organizations own the support of that development 2. Leadership training is largely ineffective (<10% retention/change) and a leadership journey with a peer group, 6-12 months, coaching/peer support in between - has a far better ROI. One of my goals this year is to get 100% of my clients (including graduates) to review this tool and encourage/prod/support/use colorful language . . . to get them to all Yes. Working with my integrators - I will revisit my favorite line in this video: "If used correctly, EOS creates a leadership class in your business/work" So go lead in 2024 - differently and more effectively than in 2024. . . . . and if you are a current client or graduated client - I will be in touch. #eos #leadership #lma #eosworldwide

Critical thinking : 4th element : Usage of analytical tools! There are several analytical tools that can be very useful to the companies. Today the employees are not using many of them. Companies should evaluate the tools that are available and select those that are useful to them. then, the companies should mandate the usage of the tools. The tools can be periodically reviewed and new ones may be added. By encouraging the employees to use the analytical tools, companies can get ready for the new tech that is coming in! Usage of tools encourages the analytical thinking that is essential for tech implementation. #tech #technlogy #criticalthinking #selfimprovement #personalgrowth #personaldevelopment #leader #leadershipskills #LeadershipDevelopment https://lnkd.in/gm482mCR
