It's been very exciting to use Roku's data to help build predictions for the year ahead in streaming! Some of the tidbits I found most interesting to work on: - The reach of free streaming has tripled in the last 5 years, and today, 88% of U.S. Roku households stream free, ad-supported content. - In 2025, Roku believes the majority of streaming will be free and ad-supported. - For the first time, people 18 to 49 years old spent the majority of their sports viewing time (54%) watching via streaming — up from 31% just two years earlier.
