I do not care how much governments and companies want to sell us Battery Electric Vehicles (BEV), commonly known as EV's. Yes, I agree we need sustainable transportation to reduce pollution but the BEV solution plugged into a grid that is already very stretched in capacity is not a viable or realistic solution! No matter how much push there is on manufacturers and consumers to produce these vehicles, the undeniable reality is that they are rotting in the parking lots because consumers just do NOT want them! They are pricey and impractical as there is not enough charging points to drive them outside of a city environment. We have too many worries in this day and age to endure one more: range anxiety! However we need not give up on electric mobility! Green hydrogen is a true electric solution to transition out fossil fuels, which of course needs development investment but is none the less becoming a viable alternative very quickly.
