📍 How to Get Listed in Google's Local Pack for Law Firms Let’s dive into one of the most important aspects of local SEO for law firms: getting listed in Google’s Local Pack and Google Maps. 🚀 When a potential client searches for services like "Los Angeles high net worth divorce attorney," here’s what happens: Sponsored Results – Pay-per-click ads will often show up first. Local Services Ads – These are pay-per-lead ads 🎯. Local Pack – This is where most of the clicks happen! 👀 It highlights top local businesses, and if you click "More businesses," you’ll find the local finder. On mobile, Google Maps will display similar results. Being featured in the Local Pack can significantly boost your visibility 📈. To get there, focus on optimizing your Google Business Profile and local SEO strategies so your firm stands out in search results. ✨ Local SEO Secrets for Family Law Firms ✨ Ever wonder what’s really driving local SEO results for law firms? Let's talk about a key factor: Click-Through Rate (CTR). When someone searches for your brand name (e.g., "Smith & Associates Divorce Lawyers") and clicks on your listing or requests driving directions, they're engaging directly with your business. This action signals to Google that the user found what they were looking for, which is a powerful indicator that your content matched their intent. Why does this matter? Google has hinted—and experts like Rand Fishkin have highlighted—that CTR can impact your rankings. In other words, if people consistently choose your firm over others in search results, Google takes notice. To boost your CTR: 1️⃣ Make sure your meta descriptions are compelling and accurately represent your services. 2️⃣ Use local keywords combined with your brand name. 3️⃣ Ensure your Google Business Profile is fully optimized, including reviews, services, and contact info. I spent 200+ hours studying how to rank in Google map packs for law firms so you don’t have to. Here are 3 ingredients that will turn your Google map ranking strategy into a valuable asset: 1. Local SEO The number one thing you need from local SEO is relevancy. Secondarily, you need to have proximity to the searcher. Combine both for higher visibility in the local search results for your law firm. 2. Keywords On the other hand, you want to avoid keywords where your offer is irrelevant. The classic example is using general law terms when you specialise in family law. Use specific legal terms related to your law firm's services, and then create relevant content around them. 3. Reviews Ranking in Google map packs is popularity driven, so client reviews are very important. Start by asking your satisfied clients to leave a review, and then consistently respond to reviews until you improve your law firm's online reputation. Don’t ignore negative reviews, but also don’t respond aggressively to negative feedback. Are you ready to start improving your law firm's ranking on Google map packs? #SEO #LawFirmMarketing #GoogleMaps #LocalSEO #OnlineReputationManagement #DigitalMarketing

“How do I get Google to start showing my page first for [insert your city/practice area] attorney?” For many law firms, the question above may literally be a million-dollar question. Many factors go into getting Google to rank a particular page in the No. 1 spot for a given keyword, including specific signals from the page itself. Honing those on-page signals so that Google will see a page on your law firm website as the go-to resource is what we in the SEO business call “on-page optimization.” So, what are these magical parts of a page that send signals to Google, and what do you need to do to them? ⬇️ https://lnkd.in/gsPHQ_jn #lawfirmseo #thunderheadmarketing

80% of people who need law services run to Google. These people do not have the network or knowledge about what and what not to do when they need a lawyer. While 20% are people who have used your services as a lawyer or firm. These statistics point out the fact that you are leaving a lot of leads unattended when you don't leverage the power of search marketing to get more leads on Google. Now, let's ask this simple question. Would anyone who is in desperate need of a lawyer search through the second page of Google Results? Barely ❌ And unfortunately, that is where your website and social media accounts are fixed - Struggling for space amongst other law firms. You have just lost another lead, the thousandth you are probably losing since the year began. As a law firm, it's either the first 3 top results on Google or nothing. Why? 1. You are in a very competitive market. 2. Your potential client chooses amongst the first three - They appear the most competent in the human mind. Often, you are more competent but you are less seen! That's the problem you need to fix. With a comprehensive strategy that has worked for various law firms, your firm can take that leap from the bottom three to the top three. Have you got 10 minutes? Send a DM. PS: Do you go as far as 3rd page search before deciding on a particular service on Google? #seo #lawfirms #thrivewithtomide #21dayslinkedintourwithtomide

If you want your law firm to attract local clients and boost visibility, there's one thing you shouldn't ignore….. 📍 NAP NAP stands for Name, Address and Phone number. And believe it or not, these three details could be the difference between a client finding you or not. But why does NAP matter? When your NAP info is consistent everywhere, Google sees your firm as reliable. Let’s break down why NAP is crucial for your local SEO: ✓ Builds Trust with Search Engines Think of NAP consistency like keeping a promise. When your NAP is clear and consistent, Google knows it can trust your firm. But if your details keep changing, it’s like giving mixed signals to Google and this will impact where and how often you appear in searches. ✓ Boosts Your Local SEO When a prospect is searching for “lawyer near me” to find someone close by. For your firm to show up in these searches, Google needs to know exactly where you’re located. When your NAP details are consistent, Google confidently links your firm to your area, showing it to the right audience at the right time. ✓ Improves Client Experience Imagine a potential client ready to call your firm, but they keep finding different numbers. I bet you know how that feels… When clients see accurate info, they feel reassured knowing they can rely on your firm. Consistent NAP is the foundation of local SEO. Without it, Google won’t know if your firm is reliable and that could cost you local clients. Need help optimizing your NAP for maximum visibility? Send me a DM and let’s make sure your firm is showing up exactly where it should be. Seeing my post for the first time?
