🌟 Exciting News! I'm thrilled to share that I've successfully completed the Data Science Job Simulation program with Forage! Over the course of June 2024, I had the opportunity to dive deep into various aspects of data science, including: Business Understanding & Hypothesis Framing Exploratory Data Analysis Feature Engineering & Modelling Findings & Recommendations This intensive program allowed me to hone my skills in analyzing complex data sets, building predictive models, and deriving actionable insights to solve real-world business problems. In today's #datavisualization I give you a portion of macabre history and an answer to a question no one asked: how did British monarchs die? The main violence happened some 1000 years ago in the Saxon and Norman times. The executions persisted in the Interregnum - a tumultuous period of the English Civil War. However, mainly the monarchs died - quite naturally - naturally. The idea was inspired by Dr. Suzie Edge. The visualisation was inspired by Nathan Yau and his book "Visualise This" and created in R. #Data Conflict prediction is inherently uncertain, but what if we could quantify that uncertainty? Can we predict the unpredictable? CRAF’d partners, Violence & Impacts Early-Warning System (VIEWS) and PRIO, are pushing the boundaries of conflict early warning systems. The VIEWS Prediction Challenge, now in its second year, connected global researchers to improve crisis response and early warning capabilities. By including uncertainty forecasts, they bridge the gap between traditional forecasting methods and the needs of decision-makers, providing insights into both likely outcomes and potential high-risk scenarios. 🔍 Excited to share my achievement! 🎓 I received my Data Science certificate from BCG X on Forage , where I honed my skills in applying data science methods and analytics to real-world business challenges across industries. Grateful for the opportunity to learn and grow. In the simulation I: * Completed a customer churn analysis simulation for XYZ Analytics, demonstrating advanced data analytics skills, identifying essential client data and outlining a strategic investigation approach. * Conducted efficient data analysis using Python, including Pandas and NumPy. Employed data visualization techniques for insightful trend interpretation. * Completed the engineering and optimization of a random forest model, achieving an 85% accuracy rate in predicting customer churn. * Completed a concise executive summary for the Associate Director, delivering actionable insights for informed decision-making based on the analysis. #forage #datascience #DataScience #BCGX #certification
