Writing five articles about the session-based recommendation engine for e-commerce and online shops took me one year. I wanted to do it faster, but I lost motivation because I felt overwhelmed by big tech companies scraping valuable content and selling it as their own. One year can change a person. And day by day, month by month, I realized that knowledge sharing means a lot to me and gives me joy. Thus, I started writing more frequently. Today, I wrote the last article, which opened the path for another series or maybe something bigger? We will see. PS. Links to the articles are in the "Featured" part of my profile. In the last article, I discussed evaluating machine learning models with Business Key Performance Indicators instead of theoretical scores. Understanding the role of KPIs lets us not only design and deploy the recommender engine but also maintain and enhance it.
