ERY IMPORTANT - DON'T MISS TO GIVE YOUR FEEDBACK* ICAI proposes different criteria for entitlement to train articled assistants. One of these is TURNOVER of the firm in addition to the existing criteria. It is not clear whether turnover based criteria will replace the existing criteria or it is in addition to the it. I strongly feel that the turnover criteria is not suitable to decide the number of articled students your firm can train even when it is one of the criteria for 2 reasons- 1. It will substantially reduce the eligibility of new and SME practioners. 2. can create implementation issues since the turnover can be flexible 3. Only big firms will be benefitted from this change Please give your feedback whether you want this change with a descriptive commnets at the end on the link given below. https://lnkd.in/dRk68UBJ CA REKHA DHAMANKAR, PUNE

"For newly qualified CAs, the interview season is in full swing." 😀 "Below are some of the most commonly asked basic interview questions:" **The first one is what do we mean by unearned revenue. Unearned revenue such as advances received from customers etc. for which we have not provided any goods or services, it will be recognized as liability in the books of accounts. **Second one is what do we mean by Accrued Revenue. Accrued Revenue is the revenue for which we have provided the services , we have accounted for the goods but the customer have not yet paid or we have not raised an invoice or similar explanation. **Third one is what do we mean by Accrued Expenses. We know that cash is not the basis for recording expenses , so there are expenses that we have incurred or there are benefits that we have enjoyed, so we need to account for these expenses on the Accrual concept. **Fourth one is what do you mean by Prepaid expenses. Prepaid expenses are essentially expenses that do not belong to this accounting period. we have paid certain amount in advance and the services that we are going to get or the goods that we are going to get is going to be in the next accounting period which is basically not the current accounting period For instances ; Subscription paid in advance or rent paid in advance so it will be treated as prepaid on the assets side of the balance sheet. hello everyone! I hope u all are great 😊 today's my question ⬇️ Is 𝙏𝙚𝙘𝙝𝙣𝙤𝙡𝙤𝙜𝙮 essential for CAs/ CA students ......??? -What do I mean by technology here? I mean _ MS excel/ Tally _Power BI _Data analytics _SQL _ Many more..... Definitely and most of yours Answer is 𝙮𝙚𝙨 Then why are most of 𝘾𝘼 𝙨𝙩𝙪𝙙𝙚𝙣𝙩𝙨 lagging behind in these? Bcs every time they involved in their syllabus and exam preparation. & after exam we all know, where we are busy ,just like (bs ab nind puri karni h 😂 ) Even most of us are using computers and laptops at first time in their articleship period and that time is to difficult to understand everything. And same I knew all these but I did not have a good command over all those software 𝘽𝙐𝙏 𝙉𝙊𝙒 I have started to gain knowledge in those software which is used in daily life of CAs irrespective he is in auditing, taxation, financing, accountancy. soooo, don't waste your time ⌚ start learning new things which will help to enhance your career I'm learning those tech driven skills by Skill91 & CA Monk I have good experience with these, they are giving a depth understanding about each and every topic 𝙙𝙞𝙨𝙘𝙡𝙖𝙞𝙢𝙚𝙧 : I am not advertising them from anywhere nor am I a part of these organizations, I am just a 𝙨𝙩𝙪𝙙𝙚𝙣𝙩 😂😂 If you think that I am advertising, then there is no problem. If you get some knowledge from there, then there is no problem in promoting it.🙃😝😝 𝘀𝗶𝗸𝗵𝗻𝗮 𝘀𝘂𝗿𝘂 𝘁𝗼𝗵 𝗷𝗲𝗲𝘁𝗻𝗮 𝘀𝘂𝗿𝘂❤🔥 NICASA- Northern India CA Students' Association Aameen Hussain Anjali Sharma @CAneerajarora Mohan Singh CA Students' Society

"AIM FOR THE MOON. IF YOU FAIL, YOU MAY HIT A STAR" Hello connection, I reserved my first post for very special occasion of my life and here it is... I cleared both the groups of ca intermediate in 1st attempt. This quote is true example of my journey of Ca intermediate started on 16th August 2023 with lots of dreams in mind.. student like me from direct entry background thinking of getting good score and aiming for AIR.. YES I aimed for rank but unfortunately i just cleared both the groups but i am happy that i aimed for big task so atleast I cleared exam otherwise it might be possible result would be different.. I did many mistakes but learned alot. I am adding some here to help other students. 1.) Exam postponement news- Never relay on anything we should be prepare for the worst. 2.) Please give test- Atleast we should give 2 full syllabus test and complete the paper in time limit of 3 hours. I can't did this that's why in the main exam only completed 80 to 85 marks paper in each and every subject. 3.) Never give too much time to single topic. I remembered that, i gived almost 4 to 5 hours to single topic or chapter. 4.)Track your progress and be flexible with your plan. 5.) 12 to 14 hours study- Don't take it seriously guys. productive study is more important than no of hours. Lastly I would like to thank my faculty for their constant support and best teaching. Advance account & Audit-sarthak Jain sir Taxation- Bhanwar Borana CA Vishal Bhattad Costing- CA CS SANKALP KANSTIYA Law- Ankita patni FMSM- Swapnil Patni

“Do you have any questions for me?” How do you answer this when an interviewer asks? Many candidates ask irrelevant questions: ❌ What will be the office timings? ❌ What will be the Salary in hand? ❌ Will I be required to travel frequently? Problem with these questions? They neither show your commitment nor interest in the job. What should you do then? Ask insightful questions → that demonstrate genuine interest in the company. → that showcase your enthusiasm for the profile. → to gather important information about the job, company culture & expectations etc. Here’s a list of a few questions to prepare for your upcoming interview: 👉 Save this for later. Share this with your friends who’re looking for a job. ✅ What are your expectations for me in this role? Can you advise me on certain skills that I should work upon ? ✅ What learning and development opportunities are available in this role? ✅ What key milestones I should aim for in the next 1–2 years? ✅ Are there any immediate milestones or critical ongoing projects? ✅ When can I expect to be assigned clients or accounts? ✅ What career paths are common in this role or department? ✅ Can you please tell me about the team I’ll be working with. ✅ Which other departments or units will I interact with? ✅ What are the company’s current goals? Is there anything cutting-edge or exciting that my role will directly support? ✅ What core values define the company culture? ✅ How has the company evolved in recent years? What other topics would you like me to write about? Drop your suggestions in the comments below! Follow CA Archit Agarwal & Thinking Bridge for practical trainings in finance domains.

Good morning to all my Linkedin Friends. Peekayee thought- TRAINING - Another important Prespective. Last 2 Post I have shared on " TRAINING" & in this post I am going to share one of the disgusting prespective of Training. A week ago I was invited by Executive Director of a Pharma company which has started 3 years ago to conduct Product Training to their Sales force. E.D, shared with me that they have 2 division and approx 22 products in one division and in other division another 8 Products and wanted to complete the Product Training in One day and that too freshers in the team, I told him even I take 20 minutes per product minimum for one division it will take minimum 7 hours so allocate another half day for other division products, E.D. was adamant to finish it in one day only ( 9.30 a.m.- 5.30 p.m. including 2 tea brakes& lunch break) by hook or crock, I once again request to allocate one more day because Product training to Freshers is very- Very important , it will help to built their Confidence, but E.D, was adamant, I refused to do the assignment because I can not do injustice with 55 odd freshers by loading the informations only in their brain just for couple of thousands rupees earning, It was very unfortunate to witness that they are so mad about Profits that they are not ready to spare one more day on TRAINING and keep such kind of rotten MINDSET of Professionals for " TRAINING", who could reach to this position because of " TRAINING " only!! Proper Training will lead to raining of Productivity and absense of Training will lead to draining of Productivity too... TRAINERS are niether Magicians nor Politicians, they are TRAINERS only. TRAINING needs consistency/ commitment & conscious learning. Challenges. P.S - I HELP Pharma & Non - Pharma Sales force to Train them On Product knowledge & Skills . Ping me on-7596899302.
