Human created content performs better than AI created content. 🤳 Podcasts will continue to grow in influence. 🎧 These are two true points I've seen in my career. No matter how much we believe in the future of AI, people want to hear and see how other humans engage with companies/brands. 📢 People want to relate to who is on the opposite side of the screen (vlogs, instagram photos, podcasts). 📢 Humans just can't relate to the life of AI. 🤖 Humans can relate to the life of other humans. 🤝🏼 63% of marketers plan to invest more in in their content creation budget in 2025. Smart move. If you want to reach customers, invest in content created by humans. And, if you really want to use AI figure out a way to combine a human creator with the work of AI. 63% plan on increasing their content budgets, and there were three common responses: They need to spend more money to keep up with all the format types needed for all platforms. They felt human-created content performed better than AI content, so they are increasing their budget after previously decreasing it in hopes that AI could help with the burden. Podcasting is an essential channel with much more influence than before, so more budget is needed to invest in creating a podcast. 33% plan on keeping their budget the same. The number 1 reason was you could repurpose the content for multiple campaigns and formats, so they felt the investment was worth it even if it didn’t perform as well on the social web. 4% plan on decreasing their budget due to AI, and their goal is to have AI help create more content. #digitalmarketing

Recently, I had a fun podcast with Mourad Bahrouch and Mountain Collective Podcast on AI-related topics, through the lenses of creative marketing. ❓ If by 2026, 90% of online content will be AI-generated, how will human perception of "real" creativity change? ☝My opinion is: for creatives, the human touch will be more important than ever. Genuine storytelling, emotional connections, and personal engagement are things AI can't quite replicate. Some mind-blowing numbers: 👩💻 85% of marketers already use AI to help write blogs, and many find AI-generated content as good as or better than human-created stuff. 💻 AI is expected to create 12 million more jobs than it will replace by 2025. 🤖 Around 70% of consumers want quick responses from chatbots, and 80% prefer AI for simple tasks like checking account balances. 💁♀️ With so much AI content, there's a risk of spreading false information.
