Mike Grossman, CEO of Inflection, grew up in a family that placed a high importance on values, creativity, and travel. That foundation has been the baseline for all of the ventures he’s started in his successful entrepreneurial career, and that care and intention carries through to Inflection. Listen to this interview to hear about his school days and why he cut grad school short, what drives him to create new companies, and why humility and confidence both are qualities he looks for when adding a member to the team: https://lnkd.in/d2g7ush

Most of the best and brightest ideas in wealth management over the last decade have stemmed from someone in the industry seeing a gap and filling it. This week's episode is certainly a great example of that trend. We were thrilled to host Matt Brown, Founder, Chairman, and CEO of CAIS on the show. Matt is a legend in the alternative investments space- he literally democratized alts and brought it to the masses. Wondering how to incorporate alts into your biz? Curious about portability of alts? Listen in below! PLUS! Very excited to announce a new segment: our listeners asked for more backstories from some of the most successful entrepreneurs in the industry. So we are launching a "Founders Blueprint" segment. Our goal is to share each founder’s unique “why” and “how” to help spark ideas and eliminate the fear that comes with the unknown. "The universe abhors a vacuum." I recently watched The School of Greatness episode where Lewis Howes interviewed Rhonda Byrne, creator of The Secret- and it struck a chord with me, especially in the context of my entrepreneurial and founder journey. Usually I operate from a place of "more." Pushing for more time, more ideas, more revenue, more execution, more this, more that. But THIS idea suggests that by creating s p a c e, we invite the universe to fill it with what we desire. Think about it – if you're longing for a new wardrobe, you start by clearing out the old. Dreaming of welcoming a new life? You prepare a space for it, like building a crib. The more I thought about it, the more I realized this principle can beautifully apply to our business ventures, too. For us entrepreneurs and founders, our 'space' could be our mindsets, our teams, or our product lines. Sometimes, making room for innovation means letting go of outdated practices, decluttering our product offerings, or even reshaping our teams to welcome fresh talent and ideas. By consciously creating a void, we signal our readiness to embrace new opportunities, partnerships, or strategies that propel us forward. I’m still unpacking this and what that would look like for me, but I'm curious, what space would you consider clearing in your professional life or within your ventures? What new beginnings could you make room for?

Are you a Founder looking to 𝘀𝗰𝗮𝗹𝗲 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵𝗼𝘂𝘁 𝘀𝗮𝗰𝗿𝗶𝗳𝗶𝗰𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝘀𝗮𝗻𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗼𝗿 𝗾𝘂𝗮𝗹𝗶𝘁𝘆? 😱 Join me as I sit down with Drew Horsell, Founder of Horsell, a veteran-owned professional services firm that tripled in size in just 3 years! 📈 Amazing, right?! 😀 What I love about Drew's story is that it isn’t just about scaling a company—it's about 𝗻𝗮𝘃𝗶𝗴𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗲𝗺𝗼𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗽𝗿𝗮𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗰𝗮𝗹 𝗷𝗼𝘂𝗿𝗻𝗲𝘆 that so many Founders face when scaling their businesses. ⛵️ We got real about what it takes to grow a business to the point where you can finally let go, hand over the reins, and trust your team to take the lead. 🤝 Drew opened up about how challenging (and rewarding) that process was for him—and I know many of you will relate to the struggle of loosening your grip on your “baby” that you’ve built and nurtured from the ground up. 👼 Another powerful moment was hearing how Drew leveraged his Advisory Board to build the 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝗳𝗶𝗱𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲, 𝗽𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗽𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗮𝗰𝗰𝗼𝘂𝗻𝘁𝗮𝗯𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘁𝘆 he needed to make bold moves. 😎 Drew transformed his approach, diving headfirst into the tech space and making huge strides in developing software products—something he never imagined he’d be doing! 💪 His story shows just how much confidence and the right support can push you beyond your comfort zone into exciting new territory. If you’re thinking about your next step—whether that’s scaling up, stepping back, or planning your exit—this conversation will give you plenty of food for thought. 💭 Watch or listen to the full episode on: 👇 𝗦𝗽𝗼𝘁𝗶𝗳𝘆: https://lnkd.in/gpFWVPrw 𝗔𝗽𝗽𝗹𝗲: https://lnkd.in/gQRbY_ER 𝗬𝗼𝘂𝗧𝘂𝗯𝗲: https://lnkd.in/gxsnYJ9k 𝗦𝗰𝗮𝗹𝗲𝗛𝗤 𝘄𝗲𝗯𝘀𝗶𝘁𝗲: https://lnkd.in/gZZqfd4Q #FounderJourney #BusinessGrowth #StepUpStepOut #AdvisoryBoard #ScaleHQ

To me, success is about being surrounded by the people who matter most and staying focused on what drives you. When you have that balance, things just fall into place. I had the pleasure of joining Adam Posner on #thePOZcast to share some thoughts on entrepreneurship, agency life and how to find that elusive harmony between business and personal pursuits. We covered: --> The evolution of Noble Studios (it’s been one hell of a ride) --> Balancing work, family, and personal passions without burning out --> The critical need for integrated planning if you’re a solopreneur --> And embracing AI in the creative industries—because change is coming, fast Wanna hear how I went from designing buildings as an architect to building an agency from the ground up with my wife? It’s been a wild journey, but if I’ve learned anything, it’s that with the right mindset, you can turn any dream into reality. I highly recommend you give it a listen!
