AI-driven productivity, further consolidation among agencies and greater overlap with digital marketing will take place. The year will also require greater attention to purpose-driven messaging, particularly amid volatile international conflicts and the heightened political state of an election year. "All PR is good PR", is the biggest lie sold to anyone lazy enough to buy into it. Because if the work lacks nuance, you will be seen. But you will not be chosen. You will be seen. To be discarded from the consideration set. You will be seen. Before zero conversions. You will be seen. As a case study of what not to do. "All PR is good PR" - said no seasoned PR professional or brand custodian ever. We see a lot of mediocre professionals nonchalantly quoting this to their teams, costing them credibility and the chance to create really good work. Let's collectively give a shit about the integrity of building brands and communication shaping culture, as much as awards and AI tools. Nurture your brand.
