Here’s to the leaders who consistently set goals, take action, and deliver results that inspire others to follow. I want to take a moment to express gratitude for the incredible leaders who are effective leaders as defined above. These have shaped, inspired, and walked alongside me in my journey and as friends. Among them  are Pat Lavelle, Karen Chupka, Daniel Pidgeon, Gary Shapiro, Shawn Hansson, Kinsey Fabrizio, Jake Sigal, Deena Ghazarian, David Lorsch, Sally Washlow, Lawrence Richenstein, John Shalam, Loyd Ivey, Thomas Malone, @Derek Pace, Bob Struble, Todd Ramsey, Bernie Sapienza and oh so many more! If your name isn’t on this list, please know you are not forgotten—it’s simply impossible to include everyone in one post. I’ve also been fortunate to work with and learn from some remarkable individuals who lead with purpose and focus on results. I’ll admit, my priorities haven’t always perfectly aligned with theirs, and perhaps my focus on the numbers wasn’t as sharp as they wished. But through it all, I am deeply grateful for the trust they placed in me to lead portions of their businesses, for the shared successes we celebrated, the failures I endured, and the invaluable lessons that I have learned from it all.
