Everybody who has worked in PR for a while knows and says that it is a numbers game. Even I know it, and I work with numbers too (Accounting and Finance). But I also love Marketing and doing Communications, Research, and a number of other business disciplines. I love meeting more, and more people, going into a lot of different communities, both near and far. Get good at Social Media and PR, and the more you get better at one, the more you get better at the other. Everything she says is true. I used to have to work with the media in an earlier job and career, and the journalists used to talk with me, telling me what they were looking for in the articles they had to write, what makes their article interesting for readers, what gets their attention. You learn how to be very down-to-earth talking with them and building a business relationship there too.
