Cloud-based testing platform LambdaTest has raised $38 million in a funding round led by Avataar Venture Partners, with participation from Qualcomm Ventures, marking the company’s first funding round in over 30 months. This latest investment brings LambdaTest’s total funding to $108 million, which includes a $45 million round in March 2022. Early backers of the company include Premji Invest, Peak XV Partners, Telstra Ventures, Blume Ventures, and Leo Capital. Founded in 2017 by Asad Khan, the Noida and San Francisco-based startup focuses on automating and optimizing quality assurance (QA) processes with AI. The company recently launched #KaneAI, an AI Native QA Agent-as-a-Service, which aims to reduce manual testing efforts by 70% through automated test script generation and actionable insights. LambdaTest’s HyperExecute platform accelerates test resolution by 2.5x and identifies errors 60% faster than traditional cloud grids. Serving over 2.3 million developers and testers globally, LambdaTest has executed 1.2 billion tests to date. The company also reported robust growth, with Indian operating revenue rising 53.6% to Rs 175.44 crore in FY24, alongside profits of around Rs 18 crore. #LambdaTest plans to use the new funding to enhance its AI-driven QA solutions and expand globally.
