If you notice sales are not normal right now, they're not supposed to be. This weekend is Memorial Day (this is not a happy holiday, it is remembering service members that are no longer here) and the start to Summer travel. - Retail booms in the outlet industry and people may be shopping online as there are doorbuster style sales. - People are offline and going to the beach or spending time BBQing with friends and family. - It is a short day for many at work today, and Monday is no work for most US employees. - There are odd weather patterns all weekend (check out weather dot com) with heavy rain across the mid west to east coast, and the west has the opposite. This could lead to more online shopping too or a lack of motivation to do anything with gloomy weather. When comparing data, do not use last week or year over year, use this weekend to last year and the year before for memorial day weekend as the dates change. #marketing #business #ecommerce #digitalmarketing #analytics #advertising
