Día de los Muertos, or Day of the Dead, is a Mexican tradition that honors deceased loved ones. Celebrated on November 1st and 2nd, it blends indigenous customs with Catholic influences, particularly the Feast of All Saints and All Souls' Day. Families create ofrendas (altars) adorned with photos, favorite foods, and mementos of the departed, inviting their spirits to return for a day and celebrate their life with loved ones. To celebrate, you can: 1. Create an ofrenda: Set up a small altar at home with items that represent your loved ones. 2. Decorate with marigolds: These vibrant flowers symbolize the fragility of life and help guide spirits. 3. Cook traditional foods: Prepare pan de muerto (bread of the dead) and other favorite dishes of the departed. 4. Share stories: Gather with family and friends to share memories and stories of those who have passed. 5. Participate in community events: Attend local celebrations, parades, or workshops to learn more about the traditions. By honoring and remembering those who have died, Día de los Muertos fosters a sense of connection and celebration of life! #diadelosmuertos #dayofthedead #tfcstrong #youarenotalone

Despite its prominent skull imagery, Día de los Muertos is not intended to be spooky. Celebrating Day of the Dead means facing the fact that death is real and that although our loved ones are no longer with us, we can remember them and are happy that their spirits have returned to be with us during the holiday. This article explains the evolution and true meaning of Día de los Muertos 🧡 https://lnkd.in/gUstvrs2 #DiadelosMuertos #DayoftheDead

Starting yesterday and continuing today, Día de los Muertos is a time to remember and celebrate loved ones who’ve passed. In many cultures, it's not about mourning. It’s about cherishing memories, stories, and legacies. At BeyondWill, we’re reminded of why we do what we do: to help families protect the legacies of those they love, to ensure that stories, assets, and dreams are passed down exactly as intended. This tradition reminds us that leaving a legacy isn’t just about wealth; it’s about love and connection. So, today, light a candle, share a story, and honor the lives that shaped your own. And if you’re thinking about how to keep your own legacy alive, we’re here to help.

WR742: DAY 6 | RAMBLING ROSES FROM THE LEFT-HANGING JUNGLE The ticking hand of the analogue wall clock was comforting. Each second-hand tick that was allowed to pass without any jevap from {the_whale, continued to re-enforce why some things need to be nuked on the spot. The idiom of [nipping things in the bud] never made any sense. It was always pictured as the bud of a rose about to bloom. What's the point of nipping it in the bud, when you really should've pruned it closer towards the roots a whole lot sooner, months before it got a chance to form a bud? Like, look at that idiot, who failed to pay attention, failed to detect problems and failed to apply a suitable remedy in time, long before it got a chance to turn into a bud. What harm is there, in just letting your perception of a rotten bud get a chance to turn into a flower anyway - when it's already far too late, just because you are the idiot who failed to adequately maintain it to your own standards to begin with? The expression always carried a dismissive form of cruelty. The act of bud-nipping, was always about denying the right to a bloom, crown or title, for someone who worked hard for what was rightfully theirs, but never got the chance to see what kind of a fruit-bearing flower they could've produced. That's why we now know it as a common expression, that's frequently used by the descendants of jealous idiots, who didn't know how to grow the roses as good as their neighbours could. Towards dinner, I faced a meandering enquiry about; « Have you heard anything from THEM yet? » « No. They expected me to accommodate for {the_fake_king'/s_birthday event on top. » « How is he a fake king? How could the king's birthday - possibly be fake?! » « It's not his real birthday. That holiday used to be the queen's birthday before him, but that wasn't the queen's real birthday either. » « Why are they celebrating it as a birthday, even though it's not the king's true birthday?! » « To make each state feel less stupid, for never remembering the date and exact time of every death. » Managed to intercept their maggot farming procedure through another {3rd_party_ape this morning, which highlighted a significant fault-line in their SAP. Their intranet is broken. The IT department is incapable of executing [just-the-basics]. 120:1 chance that the department head who is responsible, never earned a(n) university degree with 1st class honours and their father didn't perform a single ounce of military service. It's registering as the product of a parasitic {3rd_party_ape, functioning as a masked alt-entity, currently in breach for failing to identify with a valid ABN. They were given a direct opportunity to [PLEASE EXPLAIN] that, but made it very clear it was not OK to ask questions & failed to appropriately jevap. Always judge a cult, by the quality of it's welcoming mat. Abort. See you/s at the wedding. https://lnkd.in/gNGdMTHS
