Preparing to serve #Children’sMinistry #YouthMinistry #YouthMinistry #ParentMinistry Becoming a problem, solver No matter, the group of people were called to love and serves. God is asking us to help them first first and foremost, recognize any issues that are getting in the way of serving him with their whole hearts. Often times what is keeping them from serving with their whole heart are things that Keep them from being able to connect with others in a way that is safe, real and meaningful. So, as leaders and as ministers our goal is to help find those places that are hindering people from being able to make true connection to themselves and to each other And helping to remove those barriers. A leader, many of us make the mistake of sinking. It is our job to lead from the front. However, a good leader leads from the front, lead from the side, lead from the middle, and lead from the back. What I mean by this is that no matter where there people are they are in the mist of them. You don’t really know where your people are what they’re thinking or how you can help them if you were not engaging with them on a regular basis. In order to become a true problem solver for those 11 serve you have to become one with them. It is in the unity that we begin to see where people are struggling, and then we can come alongside and help as long as we are leaders to understand exactly where those were serving are hurting and needing our support and guidance the less effective we are and helping them go to where the Lord wants them to go. Becoming problem solver in all about becoming people who are one with those we serve, love and minister to.

In our work with church leaders, we often spot a pattern. As with many vocations, the pressures of the job lead them to overwork and eventually to burnout, and the support that they need comes too little too late. But what if this support was proactive rather than reactive? And what if its focus was long-term resilience rather than just short-term problem solving? These are the ideas behind our new 'Thriving In Ministry' sessions, which have been designed by Counsellor, Facilitator and our Church Lead Claudia Smith. Here she explains more: https://zurl.co/4xSw

The Bible isn't just for spiritual guidance —it's a powerful business & finance book. “The plans of the diligent lead to profit as surely as haste leads to poverty” Proverbs 21:5 Diligent Planning = Profitability Why does planning matter? ☑ Clarity & Focus ↳Define goals and steps ↳Align actions with objectives ☑ Risk Management ↳Anticipate challenges ↳Pursue strategies to mitigate risk ☑ Resource Allocation ↳Efficient use of resources: -time -money -energy ↳Enhance return on investment ☑ Maximization through measuring and monitoring ↳Track progress ↳Enable adjustments ↳Innovate & optimize When did they plan in the Bible? Many times, like in Nehemiah He wanted to rebuild the walls of Jerusalem 1. He first got approval from the king and prepared supplies for the journey. 2. At night, he inspected the walls diligently planning the scope of work. 3. Formulated a plan and put the team in place. 4. Local enemies wanted to sabotage his plan but he anticipated this and was prepared. 5. Nehemiah inspired the people by reminding them of their purpose and the significance of their work. This is a powerful example of planning and leadership that could be modeled. Happy Sunday!

09.20.2024: 'Forrest Allen Ward's Words,' a daily column ... intended to encourage and support. "Ever known an inspirational person, yet it was evident that they had no one to inspire them. There are professionals whose lack of support hurts their effectiveness in inspiring us. An example is a minister. A minister spends time studying what they will say when the church's services start. It can be a lonely job because church members would rather gossip than come alongside that minister and inspire him and his ministry. Once I was taking my wife out to lunch after the Sunday services. There was a group of other church members at a table nearby. What they were concerned about was not what the minister had to say or what he meant. No, what they were gossiping about was what we called, 'warmed-over preacher accusations.' What they said was hard to imagine that so much concern about this minister had nothing even closely related to support, encouragement, or inspirational defense of him. It was sad to even be near them. Of course, there are parents, doctors, teachers, bosses, service people, co-workers, and the list goes on. Why not take time to encourage and support those in your life who care enough to place themselves in a role to inspire you and others? An inspirational thought just might make the positive difference that this person needs. Why treat them as if it is expected that their emotional life has to be a desert where nothing grows? Build up, uplift, gently care for, and breathe aliveness into those who serve us. Show them you can be trusted to offer them what they need to continue serving. Anyone can gripe about someone. Do you know that griping is adult whining? Be a person who can be counted on to offer the best at any given moment, and do it will gratitude, civility, and kindness." - Forrest Allen Ward #ussuccesscenter #newpossibilities #leadership #significance #success #executiveleadership #leadershippresence #results #powerconnector #authenticleadership #network #globalcollaboration #leadership #workplaceculture #corporateculture #leadershipdevelopment #salescoaching #salesdevelopment
