This #GiveBIG we ask that you join us to support kids and their families healing from domestic violence (DV) at Broadview. Research shows that traumatic experiences in childhood – like DV – can affect health and economic outcomes for life. The good news is that studies also show that children who participate in positive youth development programs are less likely to experience poverty as adults. That's why the incredible staff at our Broadview Shelter & Transitional Housing work one-on-one with kids to build on their strengths and support families on their path toward stability: all while using fun and play. Together, we can disrupt generational cycles by investing in today's youth at Broadview. Make a one-time donation ⭐ https://lnkd.in/gMpUtPJN

🚨 Today is #GivingTuesday, and Urban Triage is on a mission to make history! 🚨 We have set a bold goal to raise $40,000 to support our community and provide life-changing resources to youth aging out of foster care. Here’s why this matters: ➡️ 20,000 young people age out of foster care each year in the U.S. ➡️ 1 in 5 will face homelessness within a year of aging out. ➡️ Only 50% are employed by age 24. ➡️ Less than 3% will earn a college degree by age 25. With your support, we can provide housing, job readiness, trauma recovery, and peer support for young adults who need it most. Every dollar makes an impact. Why Choose Urban Triage? Unlike businesses that focus on profit, we are community-driven—100% of your donations are reinvested into programs that directly serve the people who need it most. Nonprofits are the backbone of positive change, and we need your support this holiday season to continue our mission. 🔗 Donate Today: https://lnkd.in/gBZ4-Fr2 📣 Share this post, amplify our message, and help us reach our goal! Thank you for your support in empowering our youth and strengthening our community. Together, we can make a lasting difference. 💪🏾 #UrbanTriage #SupportOurYouth #CommunityImpact #NonprofitMatters #DonateNow #MakeADifference

🌟 Let's Break the Cycle of Poverty Together! 🌟 It's time we recognize that it's each one of our responsibilities to help underprivileged children break free from the cycle of poverty. Every child deserves a fair chance at a bright future, regardless of their background or circumstances. I firmly believe that by coming together and collaborating, we can make a significant impact on the lives of these children. One of the most powerful ways we can do this is by taking on roles as mentors and educators. By sharing our knowledge, skills, and experiences, we can empower these children to reach their full potential and pave the way for a better tomorrow. I encourage each and every one of you to consider how you can contribute to this important cause. Whether it's volunteering your time to teach, donating resources to support educational initiatives, or simply spreading awareness, every action counts. Let's join forces and make a difference in the lives of underprivileged children. Together, we can break barriers and build a brighter future for generations to come.

To my mentors, friends, and community: Today, I’m reaching out with a humble request—not for myself, but for my kids at Life-Line Colorado. These young people are walking the same difficult path I once did, and now more than ever, they need our support. https://lnkd.in/gF76xfDs The science is clear: early intervention and community-based programs dramatically reduce youth recidivism. Research shows that young people who receive mentorship, education, and support are far less likely to return to criminal activity. In fact, according to studies by the U.S. Department of Justice, these types of interventions can lower recidivism rates by up to 40%. Life-Line Colorado is doing exactly that—offering a lifeline to youth at risk of being caught in this cycle. But this mission takes resources. I’m asking for your help. Whether it’s through volunteering, donating, or simply spreading the word, your action can make a difference. You helped me, and now together, we can help them. With deep gratitude, Christian Andrade #Gratitude #YouthRecidivism #CommunitySupport #LifeLineColorado #Mentorship #GivingBack
