In the previous article, we wrote about referrals. We noticed that referral marketing is one of the most effective ways to generate leads quickly, better than personal branding and content production. There’s no harm in building trust but the process is just too freaking slow. From our own experience in creating the referral program and pushing the strategy through, we generated 2 leads in October which both of them are now with us as customers. That’s not bad, really. Another highly effective method, and potentially even faster than referrals, is establishing strategic partnerships. If you must know, this is even faster than a referral. Read on.

Disruptive, differentiated messaging will increase your referrals without you being dependent on them. I closed a $40k consulting deal from a referral.... ...I only got that referral because someone followed me for YEARS and saw my consistency and watched me grow and evolve my own business. I love referrals - I do not love being dependent on them. No matter what people will say, EVEN WITH a great strategy and network, you are still dependent on other people selling you. Mastering your marketing through differentiated, disruptive messaging will help you stand out and call in more of your A+ clients consistently. Yes, you'll still have those amazing referrals (which will be even better) AND you'll build up your own marketing and sales muscle which puts you back in the driver's seat of scaling your business.
