Apple TV is an extremely underrated streaming service Slow Horses, Severance, Presumed Innocent, Defending Jacob, Shrinking, Silo are all solid Ted Lasso is the OG, but other extremely well made shows
Tehran is also a must watch.
In media, breadth of catalogue matters more than depth. Apple has yet to achieve that. It takes time so let’s wait & watch.
It’s a rarefied world outside the desperate attempt of other Otts though I didn’t renew after the free first year. It’s good to have in addition to other ones
Aviral Bhatnagar, thanks for sharing these great recommendations. 📺
The quality of the shows and even some of the movie titles is pretty good. The problem is the lack of a good database of movie and tv shows outside the ones they have produced so you end up quickly burning through them. Super excited for the upcoming F1 movie featuring brad pitt
Ted Lasso is an exceptional show. Its witty dialogue and well-crafted comedic moments make it highly entertaining, while its underlying themes of resilience, optimism, and empathy provide profound inspiration. The series effectively highlights the importance of teamwork, kindness, and personal growth, making it a source of both amusement and valuable life lessons.
waiting for the day when the Apple officially come into the field of content streaming. would be great to see what happens to Netflix. I bet it will be the end of Netflix.
One of my friends told me the same thing a week ago 😅
Underrated maybe. But more people not talking about it in India might have to do with the fact that the app is only available on iPhones and not on the Google Play Store. I have an Apple TV subscription but I can only watch content from a browser. They're missing out on a huge chunk of user base!
