🌟 Exceptional Growth in Tasmanian Education Sector for Bangladeshi Students in 2024! 🌟 The latest report showcases significant growth in Bangladeshi student enrolments and commencements in Tasmania, particularly at the University of Tasmania. 📈 Year-to-Date (YTD) Enrolments for Bangladeshi Students: 2023 (All YTD): 2,307 students 2024 (All YTD): 3,606 students That’s a remarkable 56% increase in total enrolments! Notably, new enrolments alone grew from 1,083 in 2023 to 2,082 in 2024—a 92% surge. 🎓 Year-to-Date (YTD) Commencements for Bangladeshi Students: 2023 (All YTD): 1,191 students 2024 (All YTD): 2,246 students This represents an 89% growth in commencements overall. New commencements also nearly doubled, going from 1,083 in 2023 to 2,082 in 2024. 🔍 Comparison with Other States: NSW: New enrolments dropped from 17,558 to 14,507, and total commencements fell by 5%. VIC: Both new enrolments and commencements decreased significantly, with a 34% drop in new commencements. QLD, SA, WA, NT, and ACT: These states also experienced either declines or minimal growth in new enrolments and commencements.
