Big textile and hosiery companies are increasingly eyeing Indore and Ujjain for investment opportunities, drawn by the region's strategic location and growing infrastructure. Both cities offer a robust supply chain, skilled labor, and access to key markets, making them attractive for manufacturing. With government initiatives aimed at promoting the textile sector, including incentives and subsidies, companies see potential for growth and profitability. Furthermore, the rise of e-commerce and demand for sustainable products presents a unique opportunity for these businesses to innovate and expand their reach in central India. This will not only benefit the businesses in the region but it will throttle the real estate market too. So invest and be a part of INDORE's growth

#Indore always amazes me. How is Indore able to manage and convince its people to be litter-free, garbage-free, and the cleanest city in India? It's not just the residents of Indore—visitors from neighboring cities and towns also follow the same practices and refrain from littering. This is akin to a catalyst property: anyone who comes in contact with Indore adopts the same habits as its residents. Why can't we replicate this model in other cities across India? Indore's success proves that with the right mindset, policies, and community engagement, we can transform our cities into cleaner, more sustainable environments. Let's take inspiration from Indore and work towards making every city in India as clean and beautiful. This #IndependenceDay, as we celebrate our nation's freedom, let's also #pledge to contribute to a cleaner and greener India. Let's promise to: - Keep our surroundings clean and encourage others to do the same. - Segregate waste and dispose of it responsibly. - Reduce, reuse, and recycle to minimize waste. - Participate in community clean-up drives and awareness campaigns. - Support policies and initiatives aimed at sustainability and cleanliness. Together, we can make every city in India a shining example of cleanliness and sustainability. Let's honor our #freedom by taking responsibility for our environment and working towards a brighter, cleaner future for all. What do you think? #CleanIndia #SustainableCities #IndoreModel #GreenIndia #CommunityEngagement #WasteManagement #IndependenceDayPledge #CleanerIndia #EnvironmentalResponsibility #Sustainability #UrbanTransformation

Exciting news from Indian Institute of Technology, Indore! Professor Sandeep Chaudhary and his PhD student Sanchit Gupta have developed a groundbreaking cow dung-based natural foaming agent for construction purposes named #GOBAiR. This eco-friendly product, when mixed with modern #construction materials like concrete, acts as thermal insulation, making buildings lighter and more energy-efficient. Not only does this innovation promise to reduce construction costs, but it also offers the added benefit of keeping buildings cool in summer and warm in winter. Compared to chemical-based foaming agents, this natural alternative is not only #environmentallyfriendly but also #costeffective. IIT Indore continues to push the boundaries of sustainable technology, showcasing the incredible potential of interdisciplinary research. Congratulations to Professor Chaudhary, Sanchit Gupta, and the entire team for this remarkable achievement! #Sustainability #Innovation #IITIndore #GreenConstruction #EcoFriendlyInnovation #SustainableTechnology #BuildingBetterTomorrow #CowDungFoamingAgent #IITIndoreInnovation #CostEffectiveConstruction #EnergyEfficientBuildings #GreenBuildingMaterials #EnvironmentallyFriendlyTech

"Will Indians able to adapt or maintain this?" This is the first question that will be asked by stakeholders, Politicians or even our Jurors when we propose some thing different in our Indian cities. At first, I was one of them until I learned about a drastic adaptiveness in a city #indore. #Indore_Municipal_Corporation Like all the cities in India, Indore has started to undertake #Swach_Bharat_Mission from 2014. The things which Indore and other cities committed with 1) Robust waste management infrastructure 2) Segregation at source 3) Efficient collection systems 4) Transportation 5) Disposal facilities The things which #Indore catered special attention than any other city is "#Community_Participation" 1) Indore with the help of NGO's conducted #Educational_programs, workshops, and outreach activities to promote behavioral change and civic responsibility. 2) #Rewarding individuals, communities, or organizations that actively contribute to maintaining cleanliness. 3) #Fines_and_Penalties 4) #Public_shaming as a means to deter citizens from violating cleanliness rules. Now, this has been hailed as the pride of the entire Indore community for reaching the 1st position in India's Cleanest City category. {An Acquaintance once shared his experience with me. When he was brunching in Indore while in a cab. Cab driver requested him to give the snack covers when it is finished. In stating that "I don't want any tourist to spoil my city".} This #feel_of_Ownership of the city made the city sustained these efforts in the long run. And still remaining Number 1. As an Urbanist it is always important to fill the #Gap between Proposals and people. ^ Larger the gap - Larger the Maintenance cost ^ ^ Lesser the gap - Lesser the maintenance cost ^ As soon as a city feels like home, people start maintaining it. So let's design cities to make them feel at home. #Urbanregeneration #Urbandesign #urbanplanning #Communityparticipation #architecturaldesign Image source: https://lnkd.in/gPpn8RxF
